I'm sitting on the (empty) park watching dd2 going round and round the path on her new bike. We've been here an hour already!

Dd1 has gone to town with their dad to look for cheap trainers to take to Kingswood next weekend. She doesn't like anything though so is likely to come back with none meaning I'll have to take her for some in the week...which will be exactly what she's already pulled faces at because they're Primarni and not Nike

Did a bit of gardening and having a rest

Waiting at the hospital with my mother who came out of her cataract surgery at 3.30 for the ambulance back to her nursing home... hopefully it'll be here at 5.30. Trying not to think about the concert I'm playing in which starts at 7.30pm

Laying on the bed Mumsnetting. I've cleaned the house today and been out to visit family. I'll have to move soon though as the dog is pacing and wants a walk.

Trying to summon energy to do a workout - going on holiday in a few days and the fear of bikini is real! Just went through DDs wardrobes to work out what they need for holiday after being out all morning with their activities. Then will have to make dinner and may have a cheeky glass of wine - Red Velvet by M&S - it's too good to resist.
Then catch up on Line of Duty in bed with DH - bliss.

Just back from a hill walk. MNing while lying on my bed. Thinking about the squid in tempura batter I will be eating later.

Was supposed to be doing the weekly shop but can't go without dh (I'm disabled and don't drive. No I don't shop online, I like going to the shop, I don't get out much).

Dh is still in bed and now there's no time as we are going to a comedy gig with dd2 and her boyfriend and I'm going to have to cobble something together for tea from what's in the fridge (not much! I'm a tight meal planner) or get chips (and I'm trying to do SlimmingWorld!)

Blooming hacked off that he's sat in bed dozing or playing games on the laptop all bloody day.

Waiting for DH to wake up from his nap so I can go out for a meal with a friend. Currently laying on the sofa with DS(2.5)

We had a boozy lunch, DH has fallen asleep on sofa and I’m in a Fortnite lobby waiting to go in to a squad match with my mates.

Standing on doorstep waiting for daughter who is late. Going to see guilty feminist. Hope we don't have trouble parking.

Lay on the couch with my feet up with a cup of tea. Kids just gone asleep. Dh gone out for the evening - I’m happy

Watching Ninja Warrior whilst laying on sofa having just finished a large ice cream with nuts, chocolate sauce & double flake

Vegging on the couch, attention split between Netflix and Mumsnet. A warm cat asleep snuggled up against my side. DH has taken the kids to see family, the house is blissfully quiet, I've washed and dried 4 loads of washing and the kitchen is clean. I don't have to make anyone dinner, and I've eaten already and am within my calories for the day (I'm dieting hard) and stuffed. I sort of feel like I should be doing something constructive but I'm stiff from lifting heavy weights at the gym two days this week (I only started this week so my body is in shock a bit!). Life is good : )

@stephstrops, you can't mention newborn kittens without posting photos, it's against MN guidelines. I'm sure of it...

Sitting watching in for a penny with a gin! Dd2 is going to bed in 15 minutes and dd1 will go to bed about nine, I don’t plan to move off the sofa for the rest of the evening!

Sitting in my parents' bedroom with sleeping DS in my arms, internally fuming at their twat friend who told me that succeeding at bf is a matter of perseverance. He hasn't seen me in ten years, couldn't even say something nice about my baby and doesn't know anything about the struggles we experienced in his first few weeks of life. But hey, he's an 80 year old bloke who happens to work in infertility treatment, so clearly he gets a free pass to lecture women about what to do with their tits
