What kind of drunk are you?

Not as in an alcoholic drunk but what aspects of your character come out after a few? For my dad he used to get violent, for DH he can get argumentative. For me some weird side comes out where I get a bit flirty and my inner lesbian comes out (I am straight) and I can get suggestive towards other females, not sure what that is all about and have cringed a few mornings after when recalling events of the night before.

So does anyone else change character after a few too many?

Hmm I get a bit louder and tend to find myself getting into deep and meaningful conversations/debates.

Oh and depending on who I'm with, I'll probably feel like dancing at some point.

I am a very loveable and hilarious drunk and I want to kiss and cuddle everyone and everything or so I'm told.
I'm also rediculously generous and promise you the sun moon and the stars and will give away my clothes /shoes that I am wearing if you like them.
I also make friends with females in toilets especially if they are young or upset as I become very maternal.
I am a liability to be honest.

Oh and dancing happens after a sniff of alcohol.

I get sleepy!

I want to cuddle everyone and think I’m the world’s greatest dancer.

I am a happy drunk. Generally will have a good time, encourage everyone else to do the same and be up for a party.

Wouldn't do it if I got argumentative, embarrassing or violent. What's the point then?

She does have a point. Sober me finds socialising a tremendous effort and I struggle to find the will to do it.

Drunk me, however, is a social butterfly. I’m hilarious, interesting and seem to know what to say in any situation.

It’s a good thing I like a drink

I rarely drink, and almost never to excess. BUt if I do I think I am absolutely hilarious after one-two drinks. I talk the arse off anyone, can get quite confrontational if someone else starts it first (would usually run a mile). And then I'm asleep by 10pm!

On wine, I get very emotional and sensitive. Had many a morning after where I questioned what on earth got into me?

On everything else though, I am just alot more enthusiastic, outgoing and mad.

Haven't gotten drunk in quite a while though and I tend to avoid alcohol these days - motherhood seems to have put me off it.

Chatty then tired within about 1/2 hr

I start chatting and putting the world to rights. Also more outgoing and louder

I don't shut up. Also 99% of what I say is total bollocks 😂

Bashful - first drink
Happy - third drink
Dopey - fifth drink
Sleepy - seventh drink
Grumpy - next morning

Horrible. Hence why I don't drink! Used to be fine until I hit my forties.

I talk utter shite.

Momentarily chatty and asleep within 45 minutes. With a few minutes of dizzy and nausea thrown into the mix.

I'm a friendly drunk I think and never get rowdy or aggro. I chat to everyone, dance a lot and am happier than ever before. DH is a lovely drunk and we laugh for hours at our own jokes when we've been drinking together, like a plump version of Beavis and Butthead.

I do, however, sober up like lightening when needs be; on holiday recently a friend took a funny turn and needed a hospital, her Dr asked how much she'd drunk (we were part way through a shot-fuelled night) and was surprised at how coherent I seemed despite the shots. I think that's tied in with parenting and teaching; I've always got my eye on the people in my care, just in case.

Absolute Idiot here!! Loud, dancing, thinking I can drink like a 6ft male and I am good at putting the world to rights too! Oh OP yes straight woman here but I also get flirty with girls too!! haha

I’m a very self aware shy introvert.

A few bevvies in, I’m a gregarious, oversharing, lewd conversational genius who wants to arrange get togethers with people I haven’t seen for ages.

Then the next day, I think “shit”.

I've never been drunk and I hate other people getting drunk.

Happy happy until I (to the regret of anyone I have the misfortune being talking to) remember what a horrible and unequal society we live in. I will go on about for a period of time and then start dancing. I miss going down the pub and that being a weekday.

I am a REALLY happy drunk! I also make plans 😬 which I regret the day after haha.
