I have a free delivery pass so thought I would give it a go, what’s nice from there?

Asda delivery is great as long as you don't actually want any of the things you've ordered. It's more like an expensive lucky dip. Never again.

Chicken tikka sandwich filler, garlic and onion dip.

I once had a substitute of prawns for chicken satay 😂 Asda def the worst for subs out of the ones I've tried which are Tesco, Sainsbury's and Waitrose.

Turkey mince is nice.
And the 50% less fat mature cheddar cheese is both lovely and the lowest calorie around.

They're about the only things I specifically go to ASDA for.

Their chocolate raisins and peanuts are the best and I’ve tried every brand going

I ordered from them once and eggs were unavailable Confused. I could have understood them not having the specific pack I wanted but I couldn't understand how they couldn't substitute it with a different packet/brand/type. Did they seriously not have a single box of eggs in stock??

Well it’s being delivered tonight so I will see how many subs I get! It’s much cheaper than my usual shop, but I haven’t bought as much meat either. Lots of tasty snacks hopefully though 😋

Cant you just order branded haevy stuff like water, milk, washing powder, tins, toiletrolls ?

missmouse101 · 24/05/2019 20:18

Keep us posted, OP! How was it?

Chancewouldbeafinethlng · 25/05/2019 11:08

Pleasantly surprised! No tuna but everything else turned up.
Driver not as friendly as my usuals though but I can get over that.

@Chancewouldbeafinethlng

What did you get? What did you get?

Chancewouldbeafinethlng · 26/05/2019 11:13

I got a normal shop but got some nice treats too.
Got a salted butter block with salt crystals in, delicious but not healthy! I got the chickpeas suggested and the garlic crackers, both very nice! Also got some dippy crisps that I’ve not seen in Tesco, can’t remember the name but they were lovely and perfect for dipping.
I think I would shop online there again but still not a fan of their meat Envy
