What is it 😥.

Please excuse the stretch marks. There's nothing I can do about them.

It's about 1cm tall. And isn't hard. It doesn't hurt much either.

Yes get it sorted before your holiday, then you can relax.
How's the pain in your breast?

BunnyTeapot · 20/06/2019 12:28

Hope you get sorted OP! I always have a list when I finally go for myself too

GreenTulips · 20/06/2019 12:32

Go to the Pharmacist- if it’s urgent or needs a doctor they will get you an urgent appointment

ronaldbiliusweasley · 20/06/2019 17:44

I don't suppose the fact it's starting to bleed is good? I have to wait until 8am as I'm alone with 2 children ☹️

Wildorchidz · 20/06/2019 18:04

Have no medical knowledge at all but I can’t imagine that a growth that is bleeding is good.
Has your breast pain subsided?

Readytogogogo · 20/06/2019 18:09

It can wait til morning as long as it's just a bit of weeping blood. It can't wait longer than that, you must call GP in morning and ask for an emergency appointment. Very likely you need an urgent biopsy. Please don't delay this any longer.

ronaldbiliusweasley · 20/06/2019 18:19

The breast pain isn't so bad right now. It doesn't hurt unless I touch it. Whereas sometimes it hurts a lot without any contact.

I spoke to the doctors today and gave them a brief reason and she said they would definitely get me in tomorrow.

I will update even if I don't have anything to say or they tell me it's just a spot!

Thank you everyone for your advice. I really would have ignored this even though I'm worried about it

Bleeding was the sign of my skin cancer, just a basal cell carcinoma which means they cut it out and that was that. I’ve had 2, very quick procedure.

ronaldbiliusweasley · 20/06/2019 18:41

I'll be honest, everyone going 'that looks like skin cancer.' I can't even imagine you're correct and think how ridiculous.

But there's a part of me going 'that isn't a normal spot.'

I really want to just bury my head and ignore it and it will go away. I can't even think about it being the c word

Ok googling cell carcinoma was not a good idea. Pretty much looks exactly like some of the pictures.

It looks a bit like a keloid scar. I have one on my leg that looks like a pea sized version of that. I think it was an ingrown hair once. I've had it for 10 years.

Bobbiepin · 20/06/2019 18:54

Basal cell carcinoma is the least problematic of all skin cancers. The majority will be cut out under local anesthesia and that's it. They run rampant through my family but nothing more has come of them. Please don't be too anxious until you have been seen, but do get seen sharpish (and buy a ton of sun cream for your holiday, you need to be super careful).

chickhonhoneybabe · 20/06/2019 18:57

I had a Granuloma when pregnant (it looks like nothing in any of the google photos I’ve found), it started out looking like a spot without a head like your first picture. I tried to squeeze it but it wouldn’t. I left it for a bit then kept trying to squeeze it but no puss or anything came out it, but I did squeeze it enough until it bleed and it kept filling with blood and went black/purple then eventually went back to looking like a spot.

Does yours look more like a spot or a mole? Did you have a mole there before hand?

ronaldbiliusweasley · 20/06/2019 19:04

No mole there beforehand.

Oh don't worry. Even though I have Italian blood and I'm very olive and never burn, I always wear suncream.

Holiday is in the Lake District and it's meant to rain all week 😂

Please don't Google that's the worst thing you can do. Just make sure you go to the docs tomorrow. You don't know what it could be at this point. Worrying about it be something sinister is not going to help you. I do know where you're coming from as I've often googled symptoms but that's just made my anxiety 10 times worse. I hope you see the doc to tomorrow and hope your little one is ok.

FoxSquadKitten · 20/06/2019 19:22

It may not be but if it is you need to sort it, sooner rather than later.
Good luck for tomorrow 💐

It's a spot! I get them on my stretch marks occasionally usually due to an ingrown hair. I just get a sterile needle and pop them, give it good squeeze and put some antiseptic cream on, Job done!

Wildorchidz · 20/06/2019 20:27

The op first posted about this on 21st May
She established back then that’s it not a squeezable spot or an ingrown hair

SapphireBattersea · 20/06/2019 20:30

Get to a gp

I am sure I have heard that Anything a bit odd that doesn't go away within 2/3 weeks should be checked out.

Good luck I'm sure it's nothing but will put your mind at rest. Niggling health worries are horrid. But usually easily sorted

💐

ohmydaysagain · 20/06/2019 20:32

It was I have exactly the same mark after they pop, they also get like a flaky skin healing over then leave a purple scar that eventually fades, have suffered for the last 3 years with them,

Cherylshaw · 20/06/2019 20:33

I get what looks like these often on my stretch marks, I went to the doctor with the first one and they said it is just irritation on the stretch mark which causes a smooth spot under it and sometimes can be a blood blister. My last two look exactly like your pic. One of them turned yellow as I had tried to pop it and it had bruised and then bled.
I wouldn't worry, get it checked out to put your mind at ease but I'd imagine it was the same as me, especially if it is in a place where clothes or straps etc can irritate it

WhereForArtThouBray · 20/06/2019 20:47

I have had these before or what looks very very similar to your picture. Busualkt where my waistband has rubbed on a stretch mark and irratated it.

Glad you are going to the docs though, better safe than sorry. Good luck for tomorrow OP

Crunchymum · 20/06/2019 21:12

Make sure you get that appointment tomorrow. Even if you have to go and wait for a cancellation!!!

Best of luck.

ronaldbiliusweasley · 21/06/2019 08:24
