What is it 😥.

Please excuse the stretch marks. There's nothing I can do about them.

It's about 1cm tall. And isn't hard. It doesn't hurt much either.

Ok, I'm going to say it. It looks like skin cancer. The pain in your breast suggests lymph node involvement, which could be trying to fight it. You know this, you are scared, that's understandable.

Please see the GP as a matter of urgency stating all issues. I know you are scared, but time really can't be wasted here.

Footle · 15/06/2019 17:02

What hmmbop said. Woman up and find out.

YouDidntJustSayThat · 15/06/2019 17:16

It looks more like it's burst without you realising and left a blood bruise. In my experience the skin will peel like that on top, They leave really ferocious marks/scars.

JaneyJimplin · 15/06/2019 17:19

Go to doctors on Monday. Dont keep putting it off.

ronaldbiliusweasley · 15/06/2019 20:50

Interesting development. It's turned purple and yellow

It is on the same side as my painful breast

I'll call the doctors on Monday

Thanks everyone. Feeling very sad and worried now

Hoping it’s not anything serious for you OP. Getting it checked out is the right thing to do. Flowers

SouthernComforts · 15/06/2019 23:17

Do you have an out of hours service where you are? Could you get seen tomorrow?

2strands · 15/06/2019 23:38

Looks like an infected bite.

FoxSquadKitten · 15/06/2019 23:46

Purple and yellow sounds a bit better, doesn't it? Almost like a bruise.
Try not to worry OP, it's probably nothing but best to get it checked out Thanks

Wildorchidz · 15/06/2019 23:55

Not yet. I've had a poorly toddler so we have been at the gp 3 times in 2 weeks for her.

Why on earth did you not mention it to the Gp at one of the three visits???

Pieceofpurplesky · 16/06/2019 00:00

Try not to worry OP

katewhinesalot · 16/06/2019 00:04

The change in colour sounds promising. Go to the doctors on Monday. Don't put it off.

StarShapedWindow · 16/06/2019 00:04

Don’t worry OP, most things turn out to be fine. There’s no point worrying x

BunnyJumps · 16/06/2019 00:07

Keloid scar

Footle · 16/06/2019 20:44

Good luck, I'm glad you're finding out and I hope it's nothing.

bobstersmum · 16/06/2019 20:51

Good luck I'm sure it will be nothing serious.

Gruzinkerbell1 · 16/06/2019 21:01

Please make sure you do call, first thing in the morning and get an urgent appointment. Don’t waste another month waiting for an appt. Good luck X

Readytogogogo · 16/06/2019 21:05

Very glad you're going to get it checked asap

yellowgreenbluepurple · 16/06/2019 21:16

Ummm looks odd, I'd get it checked out ASAP

JaneyJimplin · 17/06/2019 20:30

Did you go to the doctor @ronaldbiliusweasley ?

JaneyJimplin · 19/06/2019 18:48

Asking again @ronaldbiliusweasley dont want to pester you, just hoping you've seen a doctor

FoxSquadKitten · 19/06/2019 19:15

Yes, hope you've been OP ☝️

ronaldbiliusweasley · 20/06/2019 11:37

Haven't managed to get an appointment yet. They've been short staffed all week but I called again today and they said they have lots of doctors in tomorrow so to call at 8am.

I go on holiday for a week on Monday so if I don't get an appointment tomorrow. It will be over a week before I can try again.

I thought it was getting better as it turned purple and yellow like a bad bruise. But it's back to being black/very dark purple again.

My daughter has an appointment in a few weeks to have a scan and see a specialist as she has a rock hard lump in her armpit that hasn't gone.

Trying not to bury my head in the sand but it's very tempting!

HildegardCrowe · 20/06/2019 11:52

Call tomorrow at 8am on the dot and get an urgent same day appointment. Don't be fobbed off. Chances are it's something benign but you need to have it diagnosed. Burying your head in the sand isn't an option (but you know that). Why would you want to go on living with the uncertainty? Even if it is something serious you've caught it early. You know it makes sense OP.
