True fact about yourself that no one believes

When I was at university (5 yr course with a year in industry, so 4 yrs of teaching) I never missed a single lecture, seminar, lab or tutorial. If it was on the timetable I was there. We had large contact hours (engineering degree, so about 25 hrs per week) so was quite a lot to fit in.

I’ve told this to a few people over the years when the topic comes up in conversation. No one has ever believed me, and it’s not something I can prove or disprove either way!

Anything you have done in the past that no one believes and you have no way of proving?

I've never been to subway....I'm trying to get through my whole life never ever eating a subway.

That I'm rich enough never to work again, but as I love my job I keep working. Although I do plan in the odd week off to do some travelling now and again.

It's the smell of Subway, can't stand it. The Nandos thing floored them, one person asked if that meant I'd never eaten chicken. In that moment I couldn't prove I had.

Agreed on the Subway smell. It’s awful and weirdly penetrating...

I'm not very interesting but people always seem very surprised when I tell them my age. I don't see it myself and I think I look my age. Especially as I have been ill for a few years and put on loads of weight and have dry skin - I feel about 80 most of the time!

Canveyisland, afraid not, the last time I was on a kayak was a couple of years ago in Canada. We do have one but never been on it either.
Leelawadi The nearest I get to a mountain is when we go skiing, I don’t even like hill climbing and not in a wheelchair either.

I grew up in the 70's but I've never smoked marijuana.

I dont like cake. Not even as a child. (and not as a healthy eating thing, I just dont like it in the same way I dont like broccoli). My colleagues used to roll their eyes at me at work birthday parties, like I was on a diet and being a princess about the whole thing. I would sometimes just take the damn cake and sneak it into the bin.
