What foods are like "crack" to you?

For me it's peanuts. Any nuts really but salted KPs in particular, I literally cannot stop eating them once I get going. I have to ration them to weekends only.

And tiger bread. I could stand at the kitchen side with a bread knife and some butter and make serious headway in eating a whole loaf if I let myself.

What foods are like this for you?

I had that at a wedding recently! When we were reading the menu cards, all 12 people at the table said ‘what’s crack pie and what a strange name’
When it was served, 12 people at the table said ‘ohhhh, that’s why it’s called crack pie’

Chocolate spread, which I eat with a spoon. The Cadbury caramel one, the Malteaser one, or the lotus one in particular. I just don't buy them anymore.

Chocolate

marvellousnightforamooncup · 12/05/2019 22:20

Nuts in chocolate, especially dark chocolate. Dark chocolate coated almonds are particularly problematic.

Artus · 12/05/2019 22:23

Granola

Chocolate raisins

Deffo tiger bread from the bakery, with some lovely butter and pâté or cheese yummmmy . I only have at weekends because I'd be the size of a small house if I didn't .

Stormy76 · 12/05/2019 22:29

Nuts any type love them, particularly honey roasted because I will hoover them up in minutes. Jelly belly beans.......I can’t get enough of them and have to save them for a birthday treat! Salt and vinegar crisps, mcvities do a salt and vinegar crinkle biscuit which is heavenly. Poppadoms, fig rolls, tunnocks caramel bars - the ones that have coconut on them are just amazing. M&S shortbread I ate a whole tin at Xmas 🙈, red delicious apples, guacamole and cream cakes which I rarely buy because I love a cream doughnut with jam on!

specterlitt · 12/05/2019 23:30

I'm happy that pringles has many prisoners, they're my weakness too. Happy to join a support group with others, one where we start with a can of pringles. Wink.

Orange matchmakers. The whole box in one sitting, with strong tea, often for breakfast, eaten like I'm a wood chipping machine, I just feed em in, 2 at a time!

7salmonswimming · 13/05/2019 01:18

@tenbob

I want to get invited to weddings like that!

managedmis · 13/05/2019 01:41

Pasta.
Cheap chocolate I. E. Twix, double decker etc. Miniature heroes are worst.
Orange juice.
White toast with butter, preferably cold.

As a result I never eat any of the above.

managedmis · 13/05/2019 01:43
