😂😂😂😂😂 @floraloctopus

floraloctopus · 10/05/2019 20:46

My earworm last night was 'We didn't start the fire' because the book I was reading mentioned Davy Crockett. So far tonight I don't have one.

wobblebot · 11/05/2019 18:40

I slept!!!!! I had awful night sweats again but I actually got 8 hours!!!!!!

Zofloramummy · 11/05/2019 19:11

I’m a bit worried as I crashed out for 2 hours this afternoon Blush think it’s going to be a long night

gutrotweins · 11/05/2019 20:04

To make people feel better:

Segmented sleep as the norm

Zofloramummy · 11/05/2019 22:30

That was really interesting gutrot

wobblebot · 11/05/2019 23:32

@gutrotweins I've heard of this before actually, it makes my middle of the night binges look less suspect!!

I've had a crappy day, add that to sleeping last night and I'll pretty much guarantee I won't settle at all. If anyone is about and wants to offload with me I would truly appreciate it Smile

floraloctopus · 11/05/2019 23:32

Yes, really interesting. I can't sleep now so I'm going to get up and relax before a segment of sleep or two later.

Zofloramummy · 12/05/2019 00:43

I’m awake, about to try and sleep for a few hours (first sleep) then I’ll just get up I think and do some ironing!

Zofloramummy · 12/05/2019 00:45

I gave up smoking 2 months ago and I probably miss it the most late at night/early hours of the morning when I used to sit outside and smoke. Weird really.

floraloctopus · 12/05/2019 00:48

I don't smoke but being out in the garden is peaceful at night, you could go out anyway.

wobblebot · 12/05/2019 00:59

The garden at night is magical and oh the smell 😍. I could sit and procrastinate for hours if I wasn't always so bloody cold

Zofloramummy · 12/05/2019 01:19

I’m glad I don’t smoke anymore either! However it’s still relatively early days and it’s best not to do things that I strongly associate with smoking. So no sitting in the garden for a while yet.

wobblebot · 12/05/2019 01:25

Maybe just open the bedroom window then. I mean it's not as good as when it's raining but it does smell particularly lovely tonight - or maybe I'm just fucking odd.

Zofloramummy · 12/05/2019 01:30

I’ve just been called batshit crazy on another thread! Grin

Simply for saying I didn’t like a name as I knew a child with it who was a naughty sod. Obvs this meant I was saying a name determined a child’s behaviour and therefore I was batshit crazy. Nope I meant I associate that name with said naughty child and therefore I personally wouldn’t use it. First time I’ve been called mad!

floraloctopus · 12/05/2019 01:50

Zoflora Grin

Perhaps now is not the time to say I have only ever known children called * to be naughty Grin

Zofloramummy · 12/05/2019 02:00

Yes I think I rather upset her! I wasn’t the only poster saying they weren’t keen on the name though! Ah well.

wobblebot · 12/05/2019 07:00

I'm intrigued..what was the name? Clearly said poster isn't as used to being sleep deprived like us!

floraloctopus · 12/05/2019 07:03

Riley

wobblebot · 12/05/2019 09:32

I found it..hilarious!!!

MollyHuaCha · 12/05/2019 14:16

Zofloramummy was it Harrison?

This previously considered chavvy name is about to become aspirational.

Zofloramummy · 12/05/2019 17:43

Nope it was Riley

MollyHuaCha · 12/05/2019 18:06

In my experience as a teacher, Rileys (Rilies?) are generally pains in the backside.

But in its favour, it is easy to say and spell.

Zofloramummy · 12/05/2019 21:36

Once more into the breach dear friends! Time for another night clock watching

wobblebot · 12/05/2019 22:21

I'm certainly joining tonight, I had a nap earlier. I was in soo much pain I passed out with exhaustion. If only I could make a habit of it..
