@RainbowMum11 as long as you have nowhere to be then sleep when you can!

I just dropped off for my usual 15 minute segment and even managed to squeeze a bad dream in but alas I'm awake again 😥

wobblebot · 08/05/2019 03:47

@Ithinktomyself ohhhhh puppy! Tell me everything!

saywhatnowhow · 08/05/2019 03:55

@wobblebot

Nope , I heard him come up to use the loo about 2.30am , he didn't even pop his head round the door so I'm firmly being ignored .

He knows it's only thing that will wind me up or upset me depending on where I am in the cycle of emotions. I'd get a mouthful if I woke him up now the mood he is In .

Best I stay up here out of the way , gonna be a tough day at work tomorrow though , I've got an early meeting on the other side of the county with several professionals , someone's else end of life care depends on me being on the ball tomorrow , I need to make an important decision for him depending on the outcome of the meeting .

If I could just catch an hour or 2 of sleep

whatdoesthis · 08/05/2019 05:33

Went to bed about 10.45
Couldn't sleep so got up at 1am
Back to sleep until 4.45
Awake again now.
Have re-set alarm from 6am to 7am and will just have to be very efficient getting ready for school/work.

GP has my prescription for zopiclone but is holding onto it until I see the mental health team (I'm not great ATM).

Happy days.....

Whoops75 · 08/05/2019 05:45

Hello

I’m awake since 3, was tossing and turning before that.

I’m running through scenarios and playing mental what if, I’m usually better at shutting off the nonsense but it’s winning tonight.

I’ll probably fall into a deep sleep an hour before my clock goes off.

Hope everyone has a good day

JurassicGirl · 08/05/2019 10:16

Thanks for the well wishes Smile

I've just done a tesco order for delivery later with cat food & some other essentials.

I had a funny tummy a couple of nights ago, very sore & kept me awake so wonder if i had the bug first but not as bad? Not sure if that's a thing but keeping very good hand hygiene etc & haven't eaten yet - supposed to be doing at 16/8 fasting diet so wouldn't eat til 12 but may leave it as long as possible in the hope of starving any bugs!

Have done 4 loads of washing so far as ds accidentally vomited on his teddy bears Sad

Very glad i double line the dc's beds! Waterproof sheet - sheet - waterproof sheet - sheet. Made last night a bit easier!

Hope everyone else managed to get some sleep x

wobblebot · 08/05/2019 21:15

Good to hear @JurassicGirl how are the boys today?

Here's to some actual sleep tonight 😑

JurassicGirl · 08/05/2019 22:15

They're on the mend now thank you!

Ds stopped being sick at about 10am & started on rich tea biscuits & flat cola & has perked up but dh didn't stop til nearly 2pm! He's exhausted now!

Keeping my fingers crossed that dd doesn't get it, she said she had a tummy ache & didn't eat much for tea but she was woken up a lot last night like the rest of us so maybe just tired Sad

Just going to bed now as I'm drooping.
Hope everyone gets some sleep tonight x

Whoops75 · 08/05/2019 22:43

I’m wrecked and hoping for a good nights sleep. Everything is easier when you’re not tired

Night night x

wobblebot · 08/05/2019 23:51

Good luck everyone. I can't see tonight being much better for me unfortunately Sad

Zofloramummy · 08/05/2019 23:57

Me neither, I’m in bed but not really tired.
David Attenborough is on the tv and the cats are snoring!

Zofloramummy · 09/05/2019 00:12

God it’s boring not sleeping Sad

NCforleg · 09/05/2019 00:14

I'm awake for another night (I have a thread running on why) I have taken cocodamol and thought that would help, but nope still awake despite being totally spaced out Angry

MollyHuaCha · 09/05/2019 00:16

Vomitty teddies wash up really nicely in the machine. Best to tumble dry to stop them going smelly.

I washed DS's favourite bear so many times, he began to get a bit thin, so I had to get a replacement.

JurassicGirl · 09/05/2019 10:24

Yes the teddies have come up beautifully!

I thought I was going to get some sleep but just after i'd dropped of dd was sick! She got it in the bowl thankfully so no extra washing to do & she was only sick once & is now snuggled on the sofa.

Then at 2am ds was sick all over his bed again but after a quick bedding strip he went back to sleep & is also snuggled on the sofa.

Then at 3am dh started being sick again & then came downstairs so I managed to sleep between 3.30am ish & 7am when my alarm went off. Ds 8yrs is ok (he had it Friday) so still having to take him to school.

Yawn yawn!

Hope everyone else got some rest

wobblebot · 09/05/2019 18:16

I actually slept. I think I was tranquillised.. I had awful night sweats though!! Horrendous side effects to opioids 😪

I hope everyone who didn't sleep managed to find time to rest today!!

I'll probably pop back in around 6-8 hours Sad

MollyHuaCha · 10/05/2019 00:51
Smile
wobblebot · 10/05/2019 03:45

Hi @MollyHuaCha hope you're asleep now.

I made it this far but woke up in agony. At least I have slept two days in a row!

I know that this thread is very negative and low traffic but posting in it resale you makes me feel less alone so thank you @ragingchocoholic for starting it ThanksCake

floraloctopus · 10/05/2019 03:49

Not only can I not sleep but it's accompanied by a bob the builder song on repeat in my head.

wobblebot · 10/05/2019 03:55

Oh my god..that's hell @floraloctopus actual really life hell!

Or maybe you are asleep but just having an awful nightmare??

floraloctopus · 10/05/2019 03:57

My nightmares are usually peppa pig tunes.
Can we fix it ?

wobblebot · 10/05/2019 04:26

The only way way I get rid of a song is by thinking of another which isn't entirely helpful I know

MollyHuaCha · 10/05/2019 06:22

I could do with Bob the Builder round here right now. I eventually managed to get off to sleep, but was woken up my my intruder alarm going off.

Can't see why sign of a break in, so it's probably a spider crawling in front of the sensor or something.

Before I go out this morning, I'm going to have to go round with a chopstick to try to poke him out.

floraloctopus · 10/05/2019 07:09

@Mollyhuacha be careful, he's probably going to be grumpy as he'll have one hell of a headache. Perhaps leave him a fly flavoured paracetamol to munch on and all your problems (and his) will be solved?

JurassicGirl · 10/05/2019 10:41

I actually managed to sleep most of last night! No one was sick but dh got up to take painkillers for a bad headache but amazingly I dropped off again when he came back to bed!

I hate getting a song stuck in my head when I'm trying to sleep Sad 'You spin me right round baby right round' is my most regular ear worm!
