DD has this but if it's cold I'm bothered she'll freeze. Please suggest how to coordinate it.

Answeringonlyyesorno · 06/05/2019 16:45

Ok, I'll bite.

A large coat?

That's a dress for a nightclub, not a wedding!

FenellaMaxwell · 06/05/2019 16:46

Some kind of proper outfit to layer over the top? Grin

Redtartanshoes · 06/05/2019 16:47

Maybe the wedding is in a nightclub? ((Helpful))

Agreed. It’s not really suitable. Unless she’s about 12.

Stiffasaboard · 06/05/2019 16:47

Er that’s not a great choice although no doubt will be flamed for the comment

I’m sure she rocks it but maybe one for the nightclubs instead

NorthernRunner · 06/05/2019 16:48

I don’t think that’s appropriate for a wedding

Debenhamshandtowel · 06/05/2019 16:50

A vest.

ElizabethMainwaring · 06/05/2019 16:51

No.

PJMasksAreOnTheirWay · 06/05/2019 16:54

Clothes?

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 06/05/2019 16:54

Is she an evening only guest? Is it a very young wedding?

I'm not sure she can make that work for a wedding, unless she finds a fancy jumper to put over the top and wears it like a skirt...

RebootYourEngine · 06/05/2019 17:00

I agree with the others. I wouldn't say that is appropriate for a wedding. It's a little bit too short.

settmenu · 06/05/2019 17:06

So inappropriate for a wedding.

settmenu · 06/05/2019 17:07

My dad's Wife's daughter came to my wedding in something similar (she was 14 at the time) and it totally ruined the photos as she looked like she'd gotten lost on her way to an underage nightclub.

CurlyhairedAssassin · 06/05/2019 17:09

Some leggings? Grin

Hellbentwellwent · 06/05/2019 17:10

😂 agree with everyone above, clothes would help!

MamaRaisingBoys · 06/05/2019 17:25

I think it’s fine. Regularly see late teens/twenties in dresses like this at weddings

MamaRaisingBoys · 06/05/2019 17:27

No idea of what to style it with though. Don’t think any type of jacket would go so would pick something else if it’s not certain to be hot

bananascanturnonlamps · 06/05/2019 17:29

😳

Catchingbentcoppers · 06/05/2019 17:43

Totally inappropriate for a wedding. Or anywhere else for that matter.

ShirleyPhallus · 06/05/2019 17:44

You should link this thread to the one with the perfectly normal guest dress asking if it would upstage the bride which resulted in many posts claiming that was an attention seeking dress

This, clearly, is an attention seeking dress

GreenTulips · 06/05/2019 17:46

Has grandma go a cardi and some big pants?

TerribleTwosPhase · 06/05/2019 17:48

Sorry OP I really don't think there is a way of making that suitable for a wedding Sad
Is it evening only? Agree with pp my cousins daughter had a dress very similar to that for her aunties wedding and it doesn't look great in the pictures. Sorry.

lablablab · 06/05/2019 17:51

Wow... how old is your dd? Where is the wedding? Is it the ceremony too? Just trying to work out how this can be appropriate! Confused

grincheux · 06/05/2019 17:54

Sorry OP, it's another comment about that dress being inappropriate for a wedding from me. Does she have anything else she could wear?

Hoppinggreen · 06/05/2019 17:57

Leggings and a polo neck

BackforGood · 06/05/2019 18:03

Have to agree with everyone else.
How old is dd ?
