DD has this but if it's cold I'm bothered she'll freeze. Please suggest how to coordinate it.

It might be a liverpool wedding.

Hmm 'tis a shade skimpy.

I don't think this is right for a wedding, but there are loads of dresses that are on this website:

A little black cardigan, black tights and shoes.

@Neilsfavouritechilli Are you always such a awful snob?

Squiff70 · 06/05/2019 19:56

It's probably ok for clubbing but not very wedding-y, sorry OP.

I would suggest looking at chi chi. They often have sales and they have dresses past the knee that aren’t so relieving whilst still being ‘young’

Neilsfavouritechilli · 09/05/2019 10:15

@feelingsinister Definately not a snob but being liverpudlian I've been to a fair few weddings where no one would bat an eyelid at an outfit like this.

I think it needs to be a bit longer. Colour is fine, cut of top (back more than front) is pushing it for appropriate to a wedding, but you can cover that with a wrap or nice bolero.
But definitely too short imo

Damntheman · 09/05/2019 10:59

I think it's perfectly fine. You're only young once, might as well have fun while you're at it!

OP I'd suggest a bolero or wrap. You could find a nice bolero with sleeves to the length your DD is happy with.

She'll need to wear a brave face
