I found one this morning. I thought I'd be at least thirty before one appeared, but I'm only 26! When did others first get one?

I’ve not found any yet - 41. My dh had quite a few by the time he was 40 but his hair is very dark whereas I’m blonde which I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

  1. It's cost me a fortune in hair dye over the years.

About 27.
I am 33 now, and I have found so far every 6 months or so a new one (that I immediately pull out Grin).

ForalltheSaints · 05/05/2019 17:23

In my late 30s I think.

I'm a man so not really an issue.

ExpletiveDelighted · 05/05/2019 17:24

30 but I'm early 50s now and still only got a few.

BuildBuildings · 05/05/2019 17:25

30ish but just a few that can be plucked out if needed! I dye my hair so maybe I don't have a full picture of how grey I am.

beenhereages1 · 05/05/2019 17:27

I'm 38 and recently spotted a couple of white really long hairs! I've got strawberry blonde hair

Dollywilde · 05/05/2019 17:28

I’m 30 and none yet. DDad didn’t get any until his 50s so hopefully I take after him (DM got hers at 27 - and I got dad’s shit metabolism instead of her string bean one - so fingers crossed!)

BF got hers at 23, DH’s started coming through at 31 (the year he proposed to me, ha ha)

novasglowx · 05/05/2019 17:28

Found my first one a couple of weeks ago. I'm 29.

azulmariposa · 05/05/2019 17:31

21, but it was only two or three. 15 years later and getting a few more.
Unfortunately the carpet is becoming more grey than the curtains iykwim

CleopatraComingAtcha · 05/05/2019 17:33

I'm 40 and none so far. My mum is nearly 80 and she's only about 30% grey.

Expressedways · 05/05/2019 17:33
  1. I have more at aged 30 than my mother does at 55. She’s a red head and I’m dark Sad
chinam · 05/05/2019 17:38

11 or 12. Been colouring my hair since I was13.

onecardshort · 05/05/2019 17:38

14, now completely white at 47 - it's not a good look on me & blondes just don't work so I'm a blush pink girl now.

GiantKitten · 05/05/2019 17:40

Can’t remember but definitely under 30.

They were excellent hairs though - thick & wiry & extremely strong (my normal hair is fine & very thin). I used to pull ‘em out & play with them for hours Grin

Battie · 05/05/2019 17:40

34

BendydickCuminsnatch · 05/05/2019 17:42

28ish, bloody pregnancy! That was after my second pregnancy though. My
My sister has much darker hair and has been going grey since her teens.

troppibambini · 05/05/2019 17:42

41 and not had one yet.
My mum was grey at 18
My dad only had a few around his ears when he died at 49.

MenuPlant · 05/05/2019 17:43

First noticed at 44.

GiantKitten · 05/05/2019 17:43

(Am 68 now & completely white, except for underneath at the back, which is more ashy. Gave up dyeing it years ago)

Fudgenugget · 05/05/2019 17:43
  1. Grey/white runs in the family.
