As a young child I used to play one of my fathers Ella Fitzgerald records. The album cover was missing no it only had the paper sleeve.

I don’t know if I was confused and thinking of Dusty Springfield but in my mind Ella was a white woman, blonde, buxom lady! I was most surprised when I saw she wasn’t! Grin

For me it was like the pp who mentioned Ella Fizgerald?
I imagined George to be a big black chap with a deep booming voice, not a Joe Lycett looky-likey.
