Do you like sweets and if so what are your favourites?

I love anything liquorice especially these ones called lentils that I get at the local sweet shop (that has a huge selection of liquorice), they look like tootie frooties and have a crunchy shell which is raspberry flavour.

I'm also partial to a sherbet lemon and fruit flavour boiled sweets.

I'm able to resist sweets...I cannot resist chocolate though.

Having said that, I love fruit gums and jelly tots!

Love most sweets but not liquorice lol that's my worst 😂
Love cola bottles and fizzy dummies, any pick and mix type sweets!

Ugh licorice is the devil's jizz. Anything aniseed flavoured makes me want to heave.

That said: what happened to Tutti Fruttis? They were amazing.

I can't pick just one. We have a local shop to us that does a huge range of pick n mix, I'd spend a fortune there!

I've not really been into sweets - chocolate was my thing.
But recently I tried some mint imperials (retro!), then bought a bag, then another. I snarf them in secret, I can't resist them. I need go cold turkey....

Jelly beans.

Except for the cinnamon ones!

Aa an aside the very first time my children and I went on eBay, we gathered round and they were putting all kinds of things in the search in their excitement of what toys could be bought.

They were putting in the names of sweets and then it was my turn and I typed in Licorice.

Up came a whole assortment of licorice butt plugs!

I frantically clicked back but too late my son had read it out aloud!

“Licorice butt plugs!” and squeals of laughter for the rest of the day!

I'm not a sweet tooth person generally but my housemate brought me double dipped Cherry Ripes back from Aus and I'm seriously considering moving there.

At the moment it’s jelly tots but it changes.

Does anyone remember the sweets that were in the shape of the fruit they tasted of? You used to get them in sweet shops and little woods pick’n’mix. Not seen them for years would, they were the absolute best
