How’s your Saturday going?

I’m on my second round of toast and tea, some new albums on in the background, deciding what bit of my study plan to cover this morning.

Was going to some shops later to try and find an Art Deco style mirror for the bedroom. But it if the weather stays blustery, I’m more than happy to stay at home and keep listening to music instead!

My knees are killing me. I live in a top flat and needed to do a bit of shopping, drop off the rubbish. Painfully y creacked down the stairs, one at a time. Home again now, taking it easy.

Supermarket shop first thing, so back by 9.30.
Have rearranged airing cupboard and got some ready for a charity bag. DH has dismantled our bed and I’ve made up the big spare room one. Carpet and furniture had had a thorough cleaning. One wash is done and another to go. I’m eating bits from the doggy bag, left over from yesterday’s posh afternoon tea.

Plan to clean bathrooms and vacuum, then settle down with knitting or cross stitch later on.

I'm watching bosch on tv.
Partner has gone fishing. We were looking at holidays but they're too pricey so nothing booked.
I'm bored, but DD can't bear weight ot walk
So nothing we can do outside. It's crap.
Weather is iffy too.
I've been cutting out choc for a week and I'm almost caving.
Dd is covering every kitchen surface with wax, including the tap 🙄
I don't like weekends atm.

Ready for ginbut I cant!

Kitchen and downstairs loo cleaned, two loads of washing hung to dry and everyone's had lunch. Just want to pull out the table when the kitchen's dry - haven't mopped under it properly for a while.

After that I'll iron & that's me done, I think. I do have a few other bits I want to do so may do them too...or I may open the .

The girls' dad took them to Lidl earlier for flowers and chocs to wish me good luck in my new job. Sneaky dd2 told me they were going for the top up bits I wanted so I'll walk down with them tomorrow for those.
