It's been a bit brutal today if I'm honest

I've just lost two stone but this weekend has been a tad horrendous

Breakfast ...nothing as we were dashing out to tootle around on steam trains and got two sips into a coffee when I realised the 3 year olds head would explode with excitement if I didn't just give up and leave

Lunch....a confusing episode with a sausage obsessed man at the railway cafe bar who apparently was a tad befuddled that I may not want a sausage buttie led to me eating a seriously debateable sausage and cheese bap.

Dinner ... frankly after today I feel no guilt in the lasagne and homemade garlic was and 6 Thornton chocolates I had ....cant drink as I'm on antibiotics for an apparently invisible sinuses infection ....so screw it pasta is my friend (I can hear the scales softly weeping but that fucker can shut up until it takes a 6 year old and a three year old on a steam train route with the magician from hell and guards and drivers taken from the cast of league of gentlemen !!)

TwittleBee · 22/04/2019 18:22

Breakfast - some shredded wheat
Snack - an Easter egg
Lunch - homemade pizza and salad
Snack - homemade rhubarb crumble
Dinner - lamb, potato salad and a greek style salad

No doubt I'll be having some more Easter egg later whilst watching GoT. Insane the amount of eggs DS (not even 2) has received from friends and family.

SeraphinaDombegh · 22/04/2019 18:24

Hot cross buns for breakfast. A huge portion of fish and chips in the sun for lunch. No dinner, still too full of fish and chips. I have no regrets Grin

And it was going to be salmon lattice with vegetables, but the salmon stinks! And I didn’t buy food today, so trying to decide between takeaway or halloumi and chorizo with paprika potatoes.

Chicken and leek pesto pasta bake for dinner.

Various bites of chocolate throughout the day - fully intend to eat even more chocolate this evening. I came on yesterday so I’m starving!

eurochick · 22/04/2019 19:00

2 fried eggs with sourdough toast with butter and marmite, OJ, black coffee
Picnic lunch of a wholemeal roll with smoked turkey, bacon and avocado
Ice cream after a day out
Lots of fizzy drinks while we were out walking in the woods (v unusual as I drink water 90% of the time)
Pasta with prawns and courgette for dinner
Will probably have a bit of chocolate once my daughter is in bed and unable to steal it

Not brilliant, not awful but the bad bits are outweighed by hours of walking.

HelenaJustina · 22/04/2019 19:07

Breakfast was a small bowl of museli with some nuts and seeds on top after a run.
Apple at lunchtime and a small piece of a small chocolate egg that the DC were sharing.
Dinner was two veggie sausages and leftover veg from yesterday’s roast lunch including new potato and leek dauphinois. Was delicious!

DrWhy · 22/04/2019 19:09

Breakfast - 2 boiled eggs (one rejected by the toddler) and a slice of plain white toast.
Lunch - forgot
Snacks - about 1/3 large bag of sweet and salt popcorn. Two rich tea biscuits.
Dinner - Hot dog (a small baguette and probably two sausages).
Sounds awful but I’ve been getting over a stomach bug and trying not to eat anything that will upset my stomach - pretty bored of white carbs now and desperately craving BBQ food so taking a chance on dinner!

BalloonDinosaur · 22/04/2019 19:09

Didn't have any breakfast as was on nights last night so slept til 11:30 ish.

Lunch: Big chunk of baguette with butter and cheese

Snack: probably more of DP's chocolate orange Smartie egg than was strictly necessary.
Smarties.

Tea: fresh pepperoni and mushroom pizza from supermarket counter - so much better than takeaway IMO

Diet starts tomorrow doesn't it always Hmm
