Anyone else footnoting now it's nearly sandal time?

I am currently looking like a badly wrapped mummy - in the foot area at least. I used a super drug mock footner and for a while I didn't think it had done anything, then last night my new feet started to work their way out of their old skin, I had a lovely time encouraging them in the bath this morning and have had to sneak off a couple of times today to have a little pick and pull. I think I have left trails of my DNA all over London today, CSI would be driven mad!

i did mine with a fakeyfootner from Homebargains, about three weeks ago, I am just about done shedding!

I m going to foot soak and scrub and moisturise like a demon, maybe tomorrow, to get the last peelies off and then rake in the back of the shoe cupboard for flipflops!

TheRealHousewifeofCheshire · 20/04/2019 20:39

Ooof... pics?

Macaroonmayhem · 20/04/2019 20:47

I have also used the Home Bargains one - it’s soooooo satisfying peeling it all off!

ImperfectTents · 20/04/2019 20:50

I got an electric foot sander from Aldi. Life changing!

Yoghurtflavours · 21/04/2019 00:04

Electric foot sander, you say? Tell me more. This sounds like the kind of thing I could do with.

mawbroon · 21/04/2019 00:12

Ooh, I just did mine earlier. Cannae wait til the peeling starts Grin

GarethSouthgatesWaistcoat · 21/04/2019 01:13

Anyone have a link to a good one on ebay? I've used them before but never experienced the mega peeling despite leaving it on for longer Blush

TheRealHousewifeofCheshire · 21/04/2019 08:52

I've used babyfoot and former

Babyfoot worked, footner didnt

Preggosaurus9 · 21/04/2019 09:00

Just had to Google this. What black magic is this?! May have to try it..

viques · 21/04/2019 10:40

preggosaurus try it, you will not regret it, though be prepared for cries of gross and you are disgusting from the ones who should love you the most as you lie on the sofa watching Netflix and peeling. Good idea to have a hand vac close by to suck up the bits.

And don't walk near any crime scenes............you won't have a beautifully soft foot to stand on in court. Smile

I’ve lost a toenail so I can’t use one and have really awful dry feet 🦶

Redcrayons · 21/04/2019 11:57

On my to do list today.
I’m a bit annoyed with myself I didn’t do it two weeks ago when I actually bought it because I’d have nice feet now in my flip flops.

Chilledout11 · 21/04/2019 11:59

I use the micro pedi and it's immediate and great! Very satisfying

Macaroonmayhem · 21/04/2019 12:00

This is the one I use and it’s from either B&M or Home Bargains (can’t remember which!)

Ooh I have stayed away from cheapo ones as thought they wouldn't work....good to know!

zombee · 21/04/2019 12:05

Poundland ones are amazing too! Lots of different "types" such as coconut or tea tree. Lovely doing my regular hair mask, face mask, and foot mask whilst watching a feel good film 😊

UncomfortableSilence · 21/04/2019 12:05

I've used the Home Bargains one, thought nothing was happening then exactly a week later it started peeling, took about a week and then a final finish off from me with exfoliator and loads of moisturiser and I am now sitting in rainy Spain with my flip flops on anyway Grin

WillYouDoTheFandango · 21/04/2019 12:51

I did the real deal last week when I heard it was going to be warm (I live in flip flops in the summer). Here are some pics of the best day.

After you’ve done it, put the plug in the bath/shower every time you shower til they peel. Really helps.

vinegarqueen · 21/04/2019 12:59

Oh my DH cannot abide the peeling and I am banned unless he is away for two weeks. Very sad as it's so satisfying, and if you pre-soak your feet much more effective on the more built up areas of hard skin. Going to buy a microplane thingy...

Bgrt73 · 21/04/2019 13:47

Definitely not. Left my feet worse off. Of course they looked OK for a few days but it wasn't long before they were worse than before

ATowelAndAPotato · 21/04/2019 13:50

my cloven hooves are well beyond a footner Envy

winterisstillcoming · 21/04/2019 14:12

Just ab out to do mine! Just not looking forward to wearing socks all week but my feet are awful.
