I am currently looking like a badly wrapped mummy - in the foot area at least. I used a super drug mock footner and for a while I didn't think it had done anything, then last night my new feet started to work their way out of their old skin, I had a lovely time encouraging them in the bath this morning and have had to sneak off a couple of times today to have a little pick and pull. I think I have left trails of my DNA all over London today, CSI would be driven mad!

Footner is 8.99 on groupon at the mo

My experience is it peels off the nice skin and leaves the gnarly bits. Lot's of moisturiser is the way to go. I like epederm ointment before bed, although sometimes it makes my feet a bit hot.Confused

My feet still haven’t recovered from a footner 2 years ago. It just made them more grim.

ZazieTheBruce · 21/04/2019 17:17

Did a foot republic peel from Sainsburys on Thursday. I’ve been wondering about the Superdrug one cos it’s often on a deal so good to know it works OP.

The Superdrug Marula Oil foot mask is really good once the flakey bits come off.

My new flip flops dyed my feet black (thanks TKEES) so foot looks extra manky!

From a professional point of view as I have said many times before Footner and pedirolllers will make your feet worse in a quicker amount of time. Footner is full of horrid chemicals which will never fully get rid of hard skin, only professional debridement will. And as callus is build up by friction and dry skin, your pedi roller will only make your callus worse over time. The key is to moisturise with a quality foot cream and see a foot health professional in order to keep your feet up to scratch.

Who would I book in with to get my feet beautified?

Madbengalmum · 21/04/2019 17:55

Bent you would be looking for a foot health professional or podiatrist, I would go with someone who offers a medical pedicure because if it is hard skin removal they usually allow more time, (i do certainly ), if you are in the midlands i will probably have a contact.

katsucurry · 21/04/2019 18:00

@Madbengalmum can I have that contact please? Grin What type of price range is it?

Madbengalmum · 21/04/2019 18:09

Katsu, pm'd you

moomin11 · 21/04/2019 18:15

I went to a podiatrist for the first time ever this week and she removed the build up with a scalpel, felt so good afterwards! Hoping to be able to maintain now with a footfile and moisturiser twice a week. None of the over the counter products touched my worst areas.

BentBaastard · 21/04/2019 18:25

Ooh thanks.

I’m in the south east though.

Madbengalmum · 21/04/2019 18:47

Bent, I know someone fab in Hailsham if any where near you?

Proserpina, that it why getting the right person makes a massive difference, as does having the right kind of treatment.

BentBaastard · 21/04/2019 18:53

More Reading/Windsor really......

winterisstillcoming · 21/04/2019 20:03

Done mine! If it doesn't get rid of the stubborn bits I'll find a podiatrist.

Happy peeling times ahead

Nanna50 · 21/04/2019 20:29

I visit a podiatrist just a couple of times a year, I love the way they cut my nails and clean my feet. You’ve got to start with a good base but the rest of the time I use Vaseline almost every night, works better than all the creams I’ve tried.

StormyLovesOdd · 21/04/2019 22:12

I brought a foot cream from Aldi yesterday and it's done wonders for my scaly feet, only used it twice so far but I'm really loyal impressed with it
