What are you all up to today?

The sun's got his hat on, so we're off on the bus to a local-ish park and museum for the day.

When the girls get up that is...so far there's only me awake so I'm about to start thinking about making sandwiches to take out with us.

We were going to go to Cleethorpes, but the train fare's more than I wanted to spend on one day out.

What about you lot? Any nice plans for the day?

Stuck in public transport mess.
7am train Liverpool to Manchester Oxford Road because trains aren’t going into Vic that way.
Tram from St Peters Sq but not going through to Rochdale.
Currently on bus towards Oldham, hoping to change to something more direct later.

Dog walk with the family in a local country park. Hopefully shady enough to get out of direct sun but enjoy the weather. It'll be nice to just relax ☀️

DS has got a birthday party to go to, then off to my dad's to pick up Easter goodies for DC's and then home to play in the garden. DC's want to get the paddling pool out .. ugh

Currently sat in the garden with the dog on my lap and a cup of tea waiting for oh to get out of bed.
Enjoying the sunshine. Should probably start looking at getting baby stuff sorted considering we have 3 months left and are v unprepared 😂

Nothing, just relaxing. It's way too busy everywhere during bank holidays, so I've learned to just let them go and count it as quiet time.

DS has a football tournament, so I'm taking him to that. DH is working and DD doesn't want to watch the football so she's going to my parents instead.

Kids are at a sleepover so enjoying the peace and quiet in the sunny garden! Will go and pick them up at one and they will probably play in the garden most of the day, just warming up the hot tub for a dip tonight with some gin and tonics )I no hot tubs are hated on man but I bloody love mine!!)

Sorting out the washing then me and the LO are gonna sit in the shade in our beer garden. We're enjoying the big ones being at the Grandparents caravan for the weekend and taking life slooooow!

Working til 5 in a taxi office. Traffic is queued from the coast in one direction (About 15 miles) and halfway to the next town the other direction (7 miles) so we are not accomplishing much today at all and I'm being shouted at because we are fully booked.

I hate bank holiday weekends

Kids are out playing in the garden. I'm in the summerhouse with a cup of tea and a magazine. We did the lawn and the weeding yesterday so I'm a bit achy today!

I'm unwell so I'm back in bed. Did my bit this morning getting up with the kids, getting them ready, making cooked breakfast for everyone and cleaning the filthy kitchen.

DH has taken kids to the shop on their bikes to buy food for an impromptu bbq at home. Just us 4. Later I'll sit in the garden and watch them play with the rabbits. Film late afternoon.

DH has gone to do his hobby for a couple of hours. I should be doing housework and persuading DD1 to do some homework so we don't have to spend all weekend doing it next week. I am currently not doing either.
DH told DDs he would get the paddling pool out later. They did want to go to the swimming pool but the paddling pool sounds better to me.

I'm in my local minor injuries unit as my son has had a tumble off his scooter and busted his ankle. There's a 3 hour wait. Kill me now!!!

Pottering about in a nice quiet house at the min. Will do a bit of tidying up and sort the garden out as having friends round tonight.

Planning on sitting in the sun and reading my book in peace this afternoon.

It's after 7pm here ...

got to the shops early and it was so busy!
Cleaned the house, did the floors
had a nap, watched Netflix
Went for a long walk with the neighbour.
A couple of drinks
Now thinking about a hot bat and bed!
