What’s everyone doing over Easter weekend?

Going on a Easter egg hunt and picnic with some friends today at a park . Tomorrow is my parents (big) wedding anniversary so we are having a bbq at my sisters house .

DH taking the eldest to the cinema this morning. I'm going to take the youngest out on her bike and then am performing with choir this afternoon. BBQ on the cards later today too.
We have the gym tomorrow morning and then going to a local attraction.
Seeing family for a day out and lunch on monday.

I'm working this morning and DH and DS are coming up there to meet me when I finish (work at a tourist place).
Afternoon at home sorting out DS's new room in the hope he'll sleep in there!
Tomorrow maybe an egg hunt at a local NT place and a play before a big afternoon roast at home.
Monday meeting up with family on their canal boat to exchange chocolate and chill.

Today garden party for grandfathers 91st birthday with his 3 children, 8 grandchildren 12 great grand children and 2 great great grandchildren along with respective partners.
Tomorrow DS(8) has a football tournament from 9-2 so will be attending that then home for a massive roast and chocolate.
Monday just a chilled family day at home, maybe go to the outdoor pool for a swim if the weather holds.

@shopperami thanks, he has decided he wants to have fish and chips from the chip shop for lunch as he sees that as an extravagance, so had to go in and order it all last night and will pick it up at 12:30
Today - think we have made the local chippys week with this unexpected large order!

Went to Farndale Daffodil Walk yesterday in the Yorkshire moors which was just stunning. We even saw wild deer! Picked up DSD, had fish and chips and watches Wreck It Ralph 2.

Her and DP are off swimming this morning and out for lunch whilst I do a bit of tidying round. Then out for a nice walk this afternoon.

Tomorrow is an egghunt at Newby Hall and Monday is Easter roast at my nans. Such a lovely weekend ahead!

So far, gardening, sleeping, painting old furniture. Family tomorrow.

Dcs are older so no egg rolling or egg painting now. Today just pottering in the garden and then going to see DS playing in his show. Sunday DH and DS are away all day on a road trip to watch footy, so more chilling for me plus lunch for mum and Dd1 if she is around. Monday am hosrung guests at a gun salute for Queens Birthday.

Me time hadn't been thought of when my children were growing up so I'm making up for lost time .

Cricket today for all 3 DC and DH 😆 I’m watching DS2 in his first senior match!! Then takeaway tonight before we go to my family early tomorrow till Monday night

I am visiting my son and yesterday he trialled his 'feed the raccoons' experience on us.

It has a big maize maze and loads of other outdoor things like a frame to climb, bouncy castle, shows etc.

Today, dd was working all day & ds was at the gym & then football so I spent the day cleaning out my utility room. Got 3 bags of rubbish & 2 bags of recycling & it still doesn’t look clean

Tomorrow, my parents are having us & my brother, sis in law & their 5 children over for a full turkey & ham dinner. I’m making a pavlova in the morning to bring & will probably make something else too.

Monday, will be relaxing in the garden for the day & enjoying the last day of my weekend.

We spent the day at the park, I’m now procrastinating as I don’t want to unpack (we have just moved).

We held an Easter garden party yesterday with my old school friends and their children which was lovely, we did an egg hunt and ate lots of food. Bike ride, badminton and playing and crafting in the garden today. My dad is coming over for Easter lamb lunch tomorrow and I’ll try to get in a run before he arrives as I missed Parkrun today due to laziness. Monday to be decided!

Going for walks with the dog and visiting pub beer gardens mainly. I'm working on Monday though 🙄

I've spent the day sorting the garden and have been food shopping for tomorrow. I still need to clean but I was waiting for it to cool down a bit before I started. Dh will hide the eggs tonight and write the clues for the egg hunt in the morning.
We will go to ten o'clock mass and then family are coming over. I was going to do a roast but now I'm slow roasting the lamb and doing flat breads and salads, hummus and rice and everyone can help themselves.
Hopefully chilling in the garden while th kids play in the paddling pool.
