It's just bacon and dry bread. I'm flabbergasted.

I don’t eat butter on any sandwiches. Unnecessary extra calories!

Stravapalava · 18/04/2019 08:59

Wasn't there even any sauce on it? Sacrilege! I'm outraged on your behalf!

whohaa · 20/04/2019 21:06

Oh ffs.
DH made another batch of bacon butties for tea (I swear we don't eat them on a daily basis, I'm just finding it hard to stand without puking at the moment and he can't cook).
He buttered ONE slice of bread. Left the other dry.
Obviously I'm grateful he's made me something to eat, but come on, how hard is it to get this right??

I hope you leave him... poor you that's even worse just buttering one side!!

MidsomerBurgers · 20/04/2019 21:16

You don’t put butter on a bacon sandwich! Bleurgh!

This. Must be ketchup, lots of pepper and white bread. No butter.

Philistines!

RedForShort · 21/04/2019 10:54

One slice is better than none. Little steps I know. He'll get there.

Stay strong.

Illberidingshotgun · 21/04/2019 10:58

Your DH is broken. Did you take out an extended warranty?

dazzlingdeborahrose · 21/04/2019 17:11

He's an animal. LTB
Although things do appear to be improving. There's butter on one slice of bread now. Perhaps he's upping his game. Slowly.
Suspend judgement but if tomorrow's sandwich doesn't have butter in both sides of the bread then LTB.

Bacon needs butter and lots of it and hot bacon. But NO sauce.

brizzlemint · 21/04/2019 17:27

Isn't that a hanging offence?

Thank goodness you didn't post in AIBU though or you'd be flamed because now I want a bacon sandwich. Thanks for that Grin

BackforGood · 21/04/2019 23:29

How hard is it for him to get this right?

you ask, and yet it is you, or your crazed hormones confusing him. He got it right in the first place.
There is no place for butter in a bacon sarnie.
