What's going on at your house right now?

I've just got in from work & am drinking a coffee. When that's gone, I'll make chinese chicken curry with rice and noodles for tea.

Dd1 is in bed watching Youtube; I don't think she's realised I'm home yet.

Dd2 has been talking to me none stop since I got in about the blue bath she had, and has just gone to see if there's a film on tv to watch.

What's everyone else doing? :)

Sunday morning 10:43am.

I'm sitting here with the tail end of a migraine. Going to lie down again when my phone is charged.
17 year old is still asleep.
16 year old is at her friends.
DH works away.

Lovely day here, 30 deg C.
Not a cloud in the sky.
Wish I felt better.

I spent the day in hospital with a severe stomach bug and was discharged at 11pm. I've got to be in isolation from 8 month old DD for 24 hours and I could hear her crying with daddy downstairs, it's killing me but all seems quiet now.

DS (22) just got home from a night out. Loudly making what smells like bacon
DH woken up by said DS muttering under his breath. Will probably get up soon and walk the dog
DD (18) is still out (or has stayed at her boyfriends and neglect to tell us)
DD (2) and DS (11 months) fortunately still sound asleep

I may get another hour if I’m lucky Hmm

it is midnight our time.

DS came home from uni unexpectedly and is sleeping upstairs (having been hiking with a friend and then coming home and eating the leftovers of my dinner party).

We have 5 spanish students staying with us overnight (school exchange trip-made sense for them to stay with us tonight). they just got in from a night out with my dd2 and her friend. I can hear them singing upstairs as they sort themselves out.

We had friends over for dinner and dh and I have just loaded the dishwasher. About to go to bed.

Nice evening.

6pm in NZ. Gnocchi for dinner is made, lime cheesecake is cooling on the side, we’re watching Stargate with the boys (and 🍷 in my case).

Food for the week is planned and prepped, lunches for tomorrow are sorted, life is good.

DH and DD1 are asleep, cats are running about like hooligans, DD2 is playing with some paw patrol toys, I am MNing while trying to pretend I am still drinking my drink because I told DD2 that I couldn't play with her until I had finished it (I don't waaant tooo play paw patrol at 7am). I am also trying not to panic about being back at work in 24hrs, and MN and being half asleep is distracting me from that.

I am debating whether to get up & go for a brisk walk .... probably too lazy. Not much planned today, DH has been away for five days, due home late afternoon so I will prep a meal, got some ironing to do, Church & on coffee duty... all sounds rather dull Grin.

I am finishing my coffee before walking the dog. DD wants to go swimming and we will go for a walk/piece of cake at our local NT place. Homework, work and chores later on.

Lying in bed with a movie after my tea,
The plan for today is church.
Guna try to stick the dinner on before hand.
Come home into pjs for the day and clean the house.
Il drink loads of tea and do a bit of work on the laptop for 2mo.
Il do some stretching today and go for a few recovery miles tonight or I will be sore tomorrow.
I love the at home weekends.

I’ve got a busy day ahead.
The DCs (2&3) are currently staring at kids Netflix while I tackle a major expedition up laundry mountain Confused
My parents are coming over later to help with some big jobs (shifting furniture around etc).
Also cooking a roast for 6 later this afternoon which I can’t say I’m really looking forward too Confused morning sickness has only recently fucked off and cooking smells are still a bit of a rough area for me!

DD at her dads until Weds. I've got up and put a load of washing in, now curled up with my kindle and a cat. DH took an ill thought out concoction last night of antibiotic, lemsip and sleeping tablet, and has been spark out for the past 10 hours... it's cold and raining so thinking duvet day on the sofa! Perfect

DH went to work at 6.30am both DS are fast asleep, I've been drinking coffee and MNing since 6am occasionally make vague plans for the day. So far I have planned at some point to go and sit in a passport photo booth, and I have to go to the stable later.

Dh is sleeping off his hangover as he went out last night, dd(14) is still asleep, dd2(11) has just woken up I think as I can hear her rustling around in her bedroom, dd3(4) has been up for just over an hour and is currently eating her breakfast whilst watching Netflix on the iPad - she is not a morning person and needs to sit quietly for a good while before she comes round 😂

I’m slobbing on the sofa in my dressing gown considering going making another cup of tea and putting some washing on. I should really be doing the meal plan for the week while it’s quiet but I can’t be bothered yet.

Got up early to dust the mantelpiece while DH and the DCs are still asleep. Currently picking crumbs out of the carpet with my fingernails. The hoover makes too much noise

Absolutely nothing. We came over here (isle of wight) yesterday and it was a bit hectic so today we're just chilling. I'm still in bed reading and drinking the tea that DH brings me every so often. DH is reading the papers and providing tea and the girls are watching iPads and drawing. Swimming later. A perfect day.

DP is hoovering, I'm drinking coffee in bed & going to have a shower in a bit before we go out. (Aiming to be out by 1 but I doubt that'll happen Grin)

DP is also pitching me his new sales pitch for work whilst he hoovers.. I've heard it about 20 times now and I'm just smiling and 'mmhmming' every 2 mins.Wink

I'm drinking wine after freezing my arse off all day at an outdoor event with work.
DH and DS are on their way back from Liverpool where they went to watch the footy.
DD1 is in the bath.

Sat on the sofa whilst DH and DC's watch a film. My hangover has gone but an shattered now. Been on a coaching course all day. Looking forward to not moving..

dp is downloading some movies for later.
dd is watching youtube before a bath when I'm going to tidy as much as possible before sitting down with dinner.

Its a lazy day.

I'm lying on my bed, fiddling around with my phone (MN). DD is eating a sandwich in the kitchen, DS is doing homework and the cat's chasing butterflies.
