I've just got in from work & am drinking a coffee. When that's gone, I'll make chinese chicken curry with rice and noodles for tea.

Dd1 is in bed watching Youtube; I don't think she's realised I'm home yet.

Dd2 has been talking to me none stop since I got in about the blue bath she had, and has just gone to see if there's a film on tv to watch.

What's everyone else doing? :)

DP is feeling 'meh' again so is twatting about online using his computer upstairs.

I've dumped the out of date (by two weeks or by virtue of mould) food he's left in the fridge or out on the side all week into the bin, emptied the vile gunk out of the plughole, cleaned the sink, drainer and bowl before refilling the bowl with hot water, instead of barely lukewarm, soapy water and the plates are soaking, stacked up the other things that haven't been washed up, wiped the bits of food off the countertops, cleaned spilled coffee grounds and used teabags off the top of the washing machine by the kettle, taken the bins out, swept the floor, considered murder like I do every Saturday morning or week off work because he's shit at cleaning, shit at shopping, shit at cooking and shit at maintaining food hygiene or minimising food waste but insists it's his job because he's unemployed and I'm now faffing around on here whilst the TwatCat snores, curled up next to me on the settee still considering murder.

Been out in the garden planting, weeding and mowing lawn with DH. Now sitting on sofa snuggled under blanket with a peach schnapps and lemonade. I have DD 4 cuddled up on my right (looking at book) and DS 5 to my left (watching Dora on a kindle).My chihuahua is snuggled on my lap. DH is cooking supper. Feeling v lucky!

Got up this morning, me and dh took rubbish to the tip, had a coffee, then went shopping. Came home, did gardening. Went out again for another coffee (different place ) came back. Dh back outside gardening, I'm sat here after cleaning the bathroom having a quiet few moments.

Everyone is on screens.

We’ve been out for a walk in the Forest of Dean today. Now we are home and me and DS are watching room on the broom while OH makes cheese and bacon pasta for dinner. Then I’ve got work at 7 - first shift back after 3 weeks off with glandular fever and I’m dreading it!

DH cooking Sunday dinner as I am working a 13 hour shift tomorrow.

Baby and I just up from a nap. DP has now put his head down for an hour (he worked today but baby is teething so we had a rough night)

DC1 is tipping every piece of Lego we own out over the bedroom floor

DC2 is having some pitta and hummus and salad (has been off her food following a nasty sickness bug)

I'm feeding DC3 and then I'll bath her. Others had a shower earlier.

Movie and popcorn for kids later and take away and wine for me and DP. All very low key and boring here today.

Recovering from anaesthetic from a filling (I cried like a big baby having worked myself up into a frenzy). Sausage and mash with broccoli and gravy on for tea, watching Lord if the rings whilst it cooks. Dh has been gardening, ds is upstairs on his computer, dd is bored asking for a bath/movie night.

Just done a food shop in two supermarkets
Now watching Brooklyn 9 9
Going to start cooking in an hour
Got washing on the line and on the maidens
One dc with me on couch
One dc in bedroom probably on a games console
Dh isn't home till 9pm
Been a good day really

DH is away on a stag do this weekend, getting home in the morning, so DD and I went to watch Peppa Pig at the cinema this morning and out for brunch with all her cousins, now eating pasta in front of 101 Dalmatians like slobs! Cat is scatting out about the squirrel nesting in the roof.

I love threads like these, it reassures me I’m not the only one having a slovenly Saturday 😀

I’ve spent all day with the baby while husband has been playing football. She’s been puking on me, screaming in my face, pulling my hair etc. I’m fed up. He got in, managed to get her to sleep (she was overtired) so I’ve gone out to the shops quickly before they close. Hopefully when I get back we’ll both be happier for it and I can have a nice glass of

I’m laid on the sofa in a sunbeam faffing on my phone whilst dd is using the table to revise. Ds and dh are out at the football so at the mo it’s lovely and quiet. It will be less quiet when they get back and we all watch the Voice together.

Having a 5 minutes sit down while dinners cooking (shepherds pie) DD's are watching horrid Henry with dh. Eldest dd is in the shower. We've been on a long walk today with the kids and dog and I'm knackered. Can't wait for the little ones to go to bed tonight so I can chill out with wine whilst watching something on Netflix.

Up stupidly early today due to cat shouting at blackbirds through the window...🙄 had a potter round town & market while DH had haircut, had coffee & cake in sunshine...
Bit of weeding after lunch then made katsu curry for tonight, now shoe shopping online while DH is multitasking...ie...watching football & re-stringing guitar...
Said cat now snoring upside down...
Will miss evening 🍺as on-call from 8am today til 8am tomorrow ☹️all quiet so far but a Saturday night ahead! 🤞for some 💤!

Baby just fallen asleep on a blanket in the living room. I'm eating the dinner DH just cooked for me (fish fingers, mash and carrots) on the sofa by the baby and DH is eating his in the dining room with some metal music playing.

I'm debating whether or not to watch 'Married at First Sight Australia'.

DD1 revising for GCSEs. DD2 revising for ‘ ‘mock’ mock GCSEs 🤔 seriously, don’t they get tested enough?. Ddogs x2 relaxing between meals 😂. DH on other side of the world has just called to say night night and I’m mnetting whilst I think about making dinner and what rubbish tv to watch tonight. Quite a peaceful Saturday evening.

We've been up since 5:15am (had to get up to catch ferry home from holidays). Dh and I are slobbish on the internet, ds (17) is probably asleep but bundle of energy dd2 (15) is getting glammed up to go to a Sam Mendez concert and will be leaving shortly (if dh is awake enough to drive her to the station). Pizza for tea, glass of wine and an early night!!

I'm snuggled in bed with ds on mn whilst he's watching YouTube and dh is being tormented downstairs by dd. Almost bedtime for the kids and I'll be having a little glass or two of red

Food shop done, dog walked, mowed grass, tea in oven. Now sat watching dog attempting to get treats out of an old pop bottle. Hours of fun

Been a PJ day today

We've just got in from a trip to the garden centre and Costco.

DD2 is having a danger nap on the sofa.

DH is walking around huffing because he's being incredibly clumsy and everything he touches spills or falls apart. It's not going well for him.

DD1 is playing with her new slime kit on the kitchen floor.

I'm sitting in the living room keeping out of DH's way as I could really do without his exasperated looks and huffs because he's being incompetent about tidying things up and either wants me to help or sympathise - neither of which I'm particularly inclined to do. 🙄.
