What's going on at your house right now?

I've just got in from work & am drinking a coffee. When that's gone, I'll make chinese chicken curry with rice and noodles for tea.

Dd1 is in bed watching Youtube; I don't think she's realised I'm home yet.

Dd2 has been talking to me none stop since I got in about the blue bath she had, and has just gone to see if there's a film on tv to watch.

What's everyone else doing? :)

I am in a caravan 100 miles away from home as youngest DC is on a rugby tour. DH and other DC are at a team BBQ/piss up, eldest DC and I are in the van as I am not very good at peopling today (and don't drink).

I am in my PJs already though, about to tidy, get myself some tea and then make lunch for tomorrow as have to leave here before 8 for the fixtures

I've had a couple of glasses of wine whilst cooking Spag Bol for the kids and their friends. The house is spotless for once, DP gets in in about 1.5 hours, dog is walked and we earlier put a temporary reserve in a rescue dog called Norman...DP needs to go and meet him on Tuesday. All in, a good day!!

We just got in from a long walk. We've had bacon and egg cobs for tea, at DD1s request. Watching drivel on YouTube and bedtime in a mo. We have 2 episodes of Traitors to catch up on tonight (and a box of Ferraro Rocher to eat) once kids are in bed.

Also trying to get rid of the smell of paella which greeted me on my return!

Ddog is totally knackered and sleeping on his bed

Dh has gone for fruit cider

Dd and DS are lying on the sofa chilling out. They cycled for miles today.

DH is dealing with FIL, DS and DD.

I'm out shopping and having a pedicure 😂😘

We are all on the sofa, me and DH having an IPA. DH is watching the footie. Ddog has finally given up hustling for more food and is napping. Tonight we are having a carpet picnic and watching The Vanishing (splashing out 6.99 on Amazon Prime because it's Saturday night and we are dying to see it 😂). All snug and not going anywhere until tomorrow.

DS and I have been discussing and buying bath ducks including a 32 centre one and 80s rubik cube ones

Looked after DN today and he fell knocking out a wobbly tooth in the process DS is out so me and DH are having a chilli and a well deserved drink

I’m drinking my first - and probably only - gin and ginger.

DD is upstairs with her best friend playing, friend is going home at 7.30. Then DD and I are going to order pizza.

We’ve been on an organised beach clean today, then DD did her volunteering at the local stables for a couple of hours while I caught up on some admin work before her friend came over.

Pretty busy but good day.

centre = cm. Tbf to DD and DH they went down to our old house to get the new bathroom which was being delivered, met the plumber and the carpet fitter, painted the ceiling and DH made lunch. But bath ducks are far more important

DH is out for the evening. Cleared up tea things and about to enjoy an evening in my PJs with the TV to myself! DS1 is upstairs shouting on his Xbox and playing intermittently loud music. DS2 is upstairs chuckling at YouTube.

Just had a fab tea of baked potatoes, tonnes of veg and some really strong tasty cheese. Proper comfort food.

Now watching TV with DD3 and her BF, DH and our 2 dogs who had a lovely long walk in the sun this morning. Heating's on, and just waiting for a nice hot cup of tea.

Feel very content and peaceful tonight. It's the simple pleasures.

Been out in the garden planting, weeding and mowing lawn with DH. Now sitting on sofa snuggled under blanket with a peach schnapps and lemonade. I have DD 4 cuddled up on my right (looking at book) and DS 5 to my left (watching Dora on a kindle).My chihuahua is snuggled on my lap. DH is cooking supper. Feeling v lucky!

Me and DP drinking champers I got as present from work and about to go out for dinner. Had a totally insane day - my pet sitter at the other end of the country rang this morning saying my front door lock was broken and he couldn't access my house to feed my pets; I legged it to the airport and just got on a flight home to get a locksmith in, only to get a text as they were about to shut the plane doors saying he'd mixed the keys up and that they were now fed and happy. I had to leap up and ask to be let off the plane. Biggest facepalm ever!

Just spent 3 hours clearing up after very elderly DCAT who had a tummy upset and left a trail of poo throughout the house. Now loafing on the sofa eating hot cross buns and considering a 4th attempt at cleaning the kitchen before lapsing into a coma.

I'm taking 5 minutes on the sofa to enjoy the peace. As much as we love it, t feels fantastic knowing there's 2 weeks of no school.

DH is managing a charity football match this evening, so in a minute I'll do some washing up and then enjoy my new art book with some cava, cheese and crackers.

One is he's only 2 my other son is 12! But I believe it's a theme park with rides suitable to his age(I hope) it's called Paultons park if anyone else had been?

I've just finished tidying up and lit the lamps and candles as it's gone suddenly dark. Slightly gutted that our new neighbour turned up to say hello when we were in total disarray two hours ago, but never mind. DH is upstairs putting 4yo DS to bed, and when he comes down we'll work out what's for dinner.

I've been on my own since 3.30 and it's lovely and quiet.
Only got up at 11 though so might be up all night tonight, dh working, home about 2am.
