I've just got in from work & am drinking a coffee. When that's gone, I'll make chinese chicken curry with rice and noodles for tea.

Dd1 is in bed watching Youtube; I don't think she's realised I'm home yet.

Dd2 has been talking to me none stop since I got in about the blue bath she had, and has just gone to see if there's a film on tv to watch.

What's everyone else doing? :)

Drove to Leicester and back today to pick up ds from uni 😁 ( I'm in Essex). We've had a Chinese for dinner, talked non-stop and now he's unpacking his stuff, washing machine is on and I'm drinking wine, watching tv and listening to him clumping about upstairs. 😁😁😁

2.5 year old should be on the way to sleep, instead he is lying on our bed trying to dress DH in his PJs and refusing to put them on himself - DH has hyped him into a state on near hysteria and he’s bitten both of us in excitement. DD (5 months) is lying in the next to me beside the pair of them whinging. I’m having 3 minutes emptying the bath and hiding while I MN before I attempt to restore some order. I’m going to need alcohol tonight.

DH and older DD in the kitchen cooking up a storm. Cat asleep in the bath. Younger DD watching youtube in her room.

Me watching something about the Queen and surfing Mumsnet in the lounge. . .

Have spent the day out and about exploring London as I've friends visiting me. Took them to Borough Market for a wander and lunch, then walked along the southbank and crossed the river winding our way up past Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly and Regents Street for a spot of shopping then home.

Now snuggled on the sofas watching TV and drinking gin after a big plateful of bread and cheese etc :)

Right now we are winding down the first truely sunny, bright and warm-ish day of the year.
DCat is happy to have the balcony / terasse door open again - so he can go outside to inspect his territory whenever he likes.
DH and I have planted seedlings and lugged 160 l of earth up to the fifth floor.
DD has exams and is revising for the next installment on Monday. She's done geography, next comes art .
DS is reading.

Dps dad and mine left about half hour ago after being legend's and helping my dp fit a new unit in the bathroom, replace the extractor fan and change some ceiling lights. I've got a new phone so have spent most of the day setting that up and talking to my mum.
We've just had cheese and ham rolls for dinner as neither of us feels like making anything "proper" for dinner.
I think that's us for the night, he has his pc on and I'm choosing a book to read, lovely Saturday.

@jobnymcginty yes Paultons is great. Very clean and reasonably priced snacks/ ice creams. Flight of the Pterosaur is a good "proper" rollercoasrer and there are others too. We always go on a Saturday or Sunday in July and the queues are ok, so hopefully you'll be ok despite it being school holidays in some places. There's a McDonald's about 5 minutes from the entrance too if you need to refuel before journey home.

Just me and OH. My girls have flown the nest!

We’ve just had a delicious linguine accompanied by a crisp white wine, now chilling on the sofa with more wine and deliberating whether I want to add chocolate into this mix or whether I should wait a bit (I’m greedy and impatient like that ).

Going to watch something later, but we’ve exhausted all the series we’ve been watching so we’ll have to find something new to get stuck into. Quite fancy a French film, but we’ve exhausted a long list of those too!

Been working today so nodding off over MN and red wine. DH on the phone to his brother (major issues). DD1 watching tv, DS doing likewise in his room.

DH and DD1 are watching The Simpsons movie. DD2 is asleep. I am MNing before contemplating what job to start on next now I've got DD2 to sleep. I don't know what the cats are doing. I fell out with one of them when he ate the cake DD got from a birthday party this afternoon, which led to much wailing and crying and meant DD got to eat the last eclair that I had been looking forward to.

We're babysitting our baby granddaughter tonight.

We've had a takeaway for tea and watched BGT.

I'm now going to have a bath and watch Netflix as DP has put a crappy film on.

We were out last night so we're both tired and feeling old!

Laid in bed scrolling through mumsnet Partner is about to go in the shower and then I will and we will watch something on Netflix

Another boring Saturday night

DCs are fast asleep.
DH and I are skinned out on the sofa watching Game of Thrones (season 7) in preparation for the new series starting soon.
I’m trying to work out if I am feeling little kicks from DC3 or if I should just be expecting an enormous fart in the near future

Had a cleaning day today and done a good skincare routine.
Husband is playing computer games in the living room.
Daughter in her room studying for exams.
I’m in the bedroom watching the bodyguard after we got a Chinese takeaway it was weird to get a takeaway on the weekends as we have been really good these past few weeks. Loving life here all cosy

DH is gone out for the night, DC asleep and I'm on mn in the bath. NDN all either out or in bed so it's really quiet.

Staying at a friends this weekend. Full of curry, cherry coke and have a dog asleep on my lap. Bliss.

It's just me at home. I've been rereading my diaries from the past ten years and cringing a lot.
