How many would you expect to receive as a starter?

whitershadeofpale · 28/03/2019 19:50

Depends on the size but 3-5.

CrazyDuchess · 28/03/2019 19:50

6

BlueMerchant · 28/03/2019 19:50

4?

Hillaria · 28/03/2019 19:51

As a starter, 3-4.

EdWinchester · 28/03/2019 19:51

3 or 4. More would be de trop if starter.

Starch · 28/03/2019 19:51

3 or 4

Like everyone else says 3-4 Smile

Meet0nTheledge · 28/03/2019 20:07

Depends how big they are, but probably 4.

CakeNinja · 28/03/2019 20:12

3 or maybe 4 as a starter or a side. How many did you get?!
I’m guessing you got 2 Grin

SpriggyTheHedgehog · 28/03/2019 20:13

Yes. Two tiny ones. I was not impressed. As everyone else said I'd expected 3-4. It's not the most interesting topic I know but the friend I was with said she'd only expect two. I disagreed.

LikeDolphinsCanSwim · 28/03/2019 20:14

3 or 4. More likely 3.

FlutterShite · 28/03/2019 20:14

Four here too, unless they were very big and very, very good. Like, an excellent spicy tomato sauce inside good.

KondoKonvert · 28/03/2019 20:14

There's no such thing as too many (same category as jalapeño poppers) but I'd be gutted with fewer than 4.

FlutterShite · 28/03/2019 20:15

Was it Prezzo? I had some disappointing ones there.

CakeNinja · 28/03/2019 20:15

Well how stingy. Name and shame the venue to warn everyone else; that’s shocking and I blame Brexit Hmm

SpriggyTheHedgehog · 28/03/2019 20:17

Not Prezzo. I don't want to name the place as it's an independent restaurant but I won't be rushing back. The main was quite nice if overly salty but I feel so cheated.

First world problems I know, before anyone says it.

OP posts:
FlutterShite · 28/03/2019 20:39

Well, being ripped off is a problem, first world or no, especially when you're looking forward to three or four stretchy cheesy pieces of loveliness. Maybe you should tell the restaurant - you won't be the only one who feels cheated.

SpriggyTheHedgehog · 28/03/2019 20:43

I might do that. I don't think that it'd break the bank to throw in an extra mozzarella stick(or preferably two).

OP posts:
Flower777 · 28/03/2019 21:04

I got 6 large ones the other day.

Plus tomato salsa to dip in. Plus salad garnish including an orange slice!

Delicious.

IncyWincyGrownUp · 28/03/2019 21:06

If McDonalds can manage three per serving, I’m sure an indie can.

Xyzzzzz · 28/03/2019 21:07

3-4 I’d expect to be honest..if they’re larger in size. I love mozerilla sticks so I’d be gutted with just two.

SpriggyTheHedgehog · 28/03/2019 21:59

I'm weeping in envy at the thought of six whole mozzarella sticks, Flower. I think that I'm going to have to buy a box of them in order to help me recover from the trauma.

Get them frozen in a big bag from Costco! Delicious. Probably the same ones you were served up.
