Went to boots today for some toothpaste and came out with 3 shower gels, all new scents. I have this obsession where I have to buy any new shower gels, so I now have 13 shower gels in my cupboard just because. There was even another one I saw on the way out but had to rush so will get it tomorrow.
Anyone else got crazy obsession?

DH is the same with shower gels. The last time I counted, we had 47. He gets particularly excited about new Original Source ones, though there's been a spate of strange flavours of Imperial Leather coming home lately - unicorns and things.

It's a harmless enough vice and makes showertime a bit of an adventure : )

I like buying skincare stuff. I own so many cleansers, serums, nightcreams, acids, facemasks etc.
Pretty harmless, I don’t owe anyone any money and my family don’t go without for me to buy more crap!!
Although shower gel is something I buy 3 of most weeks with my weekly shop because we get through it so quickly.

Beads. I make bead woven jewellery. Went to a fair yesterday and spent £50 on the teeny tiny little fuckers.

Want to be 99p. Or buying it in the charity shop or finding it in the library. Far too many books to read. But I got a bargain!

I'm into bubble baths and have a fondness for the imperial leather collection too....favs candy floss and mermaid!

I rarely actually get to the point of purchase, but every bottle of red wine has its unique description and is appealing to me and I want them all. The same applies to bottle of hot sauce.

The shower gels are just for me, DP will use when he has showers but he mostly has baths, DS has his own, usually pineapple as I hate it. And dd is too young and if on the odd occasion she does need some I give her mine, I’ve also got a collection of deodorants, but they are all right guard, I just buy hem in bulk when they are on offer 😂

No explanation for it, but I do have form for random buying.

Low calorie food and drinks . I'm obsessed. I can't shut my cupboards for sugar free jelly and whole wheat pasta. Brexit can do its worst but we'll easily survive 6mths on what we have!

Judging by my cupboards, tins of chickpeas and chopped tomatoes. Which is odd as I only have a few recipes that use them and they both need other ingredients I'd have to buy specially anyway.

Yet, there they all are, stacked in neat rows...

Oh, and wine gums. Love me a wine gum, but I only like certain types and find many too....gummy! So I am on a mission to try every brand until I find the perfect one.

Toiletries in general. Long before brexit was even dreamt of i had a stockpile enough for a year! I try to keep it in check but you get such good bulk buys off amazon...

My DM buys bubble bath and scent diffusers as if there is going to be some run on them

Yep toiletries for me too and body mists. It's the lure of a new scent/packaging....I just can't resist even though I have enough to last me a long, long time!

Socks. I must have close to 100 pairs. I know it's ridiculous and keep saying I'll have a sort out but then I see another pair I like and end up buying them as well!

Artificial plants. I have just counted 32 dotted about my house. I am wanting to go and look at more, it's on my shopping list.

Pens and notebooks, I have loads.

Also cleaning stuff but my Narnia isn't as extensive as Mrs Hinch's.

Books, especially for DD, end up buying her loads
