What’s your Chinese takeaway order?

I know this has been done to death, but still - humour me!
I’ve been ill all last week and over the weekend, the fridge is looking bare, so DH suggested Chinese tonight I love him even more for making such an epic decision
We usually order the same things every time, so interested to see what’s your favourites? Maybe I’m feeling dangerous and fancy mixing it up a little

Chilli squid, chicken in yellow bean sauce with cashews, boiled rice. Pineapple fritters if I’m feeling flush!

Singapore chow mien
King prawn curry (comes with egg fried rice)
Sweet and sour prawn balls
Ribs in honey

Chinese is all about the banquets! Get a variety of dishes and have a bit of each.

Prawn crackers, crispy seaweed, sweet and sour prawns (Hong Kong style), plain boiled rice.

We’ve took the plunge and ordered:

• Crisly Wontons with sweet chilli dip
• King prawn fried rice
• Mixed sweet and sour balls (chicken, prawn and pork)

• Beef in black bean sauce

We order a mixture of dishes, have a little bit of everything, and I’m gross and will eat leftovers the next day

Ooo I love crispy seaweed too.
A little bit less now that I know most of what we have in the U.K. is just deep fried cabbage masquerading as seaweed Still tasty though!

Plain chow mein, sweet & sour prawn balls and if I am flush crispy seaweed. Not had take away in nearly a year though - I order for DC but not me. I don't even treat myself to chips from the chippy.

Pancake roll, Chinese gravy and microwave rice (the portion of rice at my local takeaway is too much for one).

Fucking nothing now I'm vegetarian and I don't like the way they do vegetables

I was also partial to just a special fried rice on its own.

Only 2 of us so plenty for dinner and leftovers for lunch or dinner the next day.

Went out a few weeks ago with friends and was introduced to bean curd (tofu) in green pepper and black bean sauce. It’s amazing.

I just had seafood satay. My usual orders are one of the following: special curry. Kungpo chicken, salt and chilli squid, king prawn curry, king prawn chow mein, salt and chilli chicken and special fried rice,

Our local Chinese take away don't have a great vegetarian range I usually get either sweet and sour beancurd, salt and pepper beancurd or veg chow mein, I love been curd and there's only one place in the next town that does it locally to me.

DP and I are fond of a tofu curry (the typical neon-greeny/brown one with onions), stir-fried veg, chow mein, and a white rice.
