Couldn't see a thread and these are one of my little weekend pleasures.

After a busy few weekends we're making the most of a quiet one.

I'm just about to have a second cup of coffee before popping out for the weekend food shop. Dc are chilling out watching tv.

Back home in time for the rugby and hopefully to see Wales win a grand slam!

I’m still in bed, about to make the second cup of coffee.
Today I’m looking after my home. And baking. I’m hoping a friend will pop in for a coffee later, that would be nice.

The last 4 weekends have involved working then last weekend we went away :)
So this weekend will be a quiet one with lots of tidying.

Just had poached eggs on toast with proper coffee in bed :):) whilst watching rubbish.

Two teens are of course also still in bed.

Have a few skip runs, washing ironing and hoovering then later were going to the movies to watch captain marvel

(Hopefully) sleeping well between my second and third night shift!

Out for lunch to celebrate friend 1 birthday and try to steer towards a pub showing the rugby after, then on to friend 2 birthday party this evening

Football cancelled due to the weather, so bit if food shopping and gonna make lots of curry for tea and enough to freeze.

Going to maybe make some soup.
Watch the rugby. I might do a bit of paperwork I have been avoiding. Or some tidying up. (But I might not)

Plans to do a ton of gardening cancelled again thanks to the wind. Instead there will be a clear out of my sky planner and then (hopefully!) watching Wales win the Grand Slam!

Watching my son play tennis in the Special Olympic Games in Abu Dhabi, so a very special weekend with lovely weather x

I am milling about in my onesie, when the youngest surfaces I might get dressed, but I might not!

I have the kitchen and sitting room to tidy and that's about it.This weekend I shall mostly be cooking and crocheting. #fastshowflashback

There's pork steaks for tonight, and I am going to put a bit of black pudding on top and wrap them round with bacon, set them on some sliced onions and roast them in the oven. A sort of porky, non cheesey Hunter's Chicken effort. :o

Going to make a ginger cake and that's about the extent of my plans.

Oh wait just got a message, another child is coming to play with DD, might end up with a sleepover. I better get started on the cake.

39+2 weeks pregnant and me, DP and the dog had such a bad nights sleep. Not sure why, none of us could fall into a deep sleep. Been up since 7ish and DP is at an interview atm. When he's home I'm hoping we can watch Netflix and chill (literally). Might have a nap later because 🤰🏻 and need to go and pick up a parcel from the post office, I haven't ordered anything so hope it's something exciting!

Getting kids' homework out the way. Trip to local shopping centre. Lunch out somewhere nice then back home. DD has friend coming to play this afternoon. Hopefully they'll watch a movie ( so no running about wild in our small house playing hide & seek like they usually do) !

Heading to the high street in a second to get some birthday cards and wrapping paper but it's blowing a gale so will probably leave DS(3) at home.

Preparing a dessert for this evening and hopefully convincing DS to have a nap before a birthday party this afternoon.

DH staying at home tidying up while we are at the party ready for some friends arriving with their dog who we will be dog sitting in a few weeks to get the dog used to the house. They are doing the cooking which is a bonus!

I'm 10 weeks pregnant though and could honestly do with staying in bed all weekend!

Super Saturday! Friends coming over to watch the games and we have loads of food and nibbles to prep :)

Getting up for a bacon sandwich in a minute, then taking stuff cleared from my Dad's house to the charity shop and trying to make progress with a book I am not enjoying for book club next week (instead of binge-watching my latest Netflix obsession) while keeping half an eye on the England match.

DH took DS1 for the first time for the last lot and not only were they the most expensive shoes he's every had they are the first pair to wear a hole in the sole. So I now have to take a grumpy 10yo shopping.
I then have to come back and have an argument unpleasant conversation with my darling sister , as it's apparently my turn to remind her she's a fully grown adult.

Had a lovely lie in this morning. Now off to do the weekly shop and clean the house. Having dinner with a friend tonight so looking forward to wine and lovely Italian food.

it’s been snowing where i live! so i’ll be watching game of thrones until it’s rugby o’clock

DH is taking DD to her swimming lesson while DS and I are at home watching GoJetters. I need to shower at some point.

Later I’m taking both DC shopping while DH braves the wind to attempt to repair a bit of our fence.

I’m looking forward to a nice caramelised veg concoction that DH is planning for our tea tonight. Plus wine

Mumsnetting while ds watches cartoons,not sure about later. Dh coming home around teatime from working 6 days away.Cant wait!

Just got a pack of frozen croissants out the freezer for the family (2nd) breakfast and waiting for saturday morning kitchen to start :)

Off out with a worker for lunch - I'm expecting a birthday gift as it's my birthday tomorrow! Was planning on going out with a friend but I think we'll stay in and play on our Nintendo Switches
