Facebook down for maintenance?

Has anyone else got this issue at the moment?

When I try and log on I have a message that comes up telling me that Facebook is down for 'required maintenance' and that I should be able to get back on within a few minutes. It has been about two hours though, and it still isn't working.

Anyone else affected?

Mine hasn't worked since 4ish and Instagram and messenger are down for me too.

Very annoying.. I'm trying to post a photo of my dinner and it won't post.. (disclaimer, I'm a chef trying out a new dish and wanted feedback on how it looks).. So you lot can see it instead 😊

The food looks great, the plate's fine but maybe a different background? And move the tomatoes closer to the meat so they're not so overwhelming.

Sometimes switching off your phone and on helps.

Am also talking to other people in the house, but they are teenagers their fb accounts are working, so I'm not getting much in the way of lively conversation.

Hmm, I've had trouble the last couple of hours with a few aspects of FB, like it not allowing me to make a friend request, block a notification, etc. Also can't send photos on WhatsApp (which I never would have thought could be related, only someone mentioned it upthread, so made me think twice!)

Can go on Facebook and browse no issues, but can't post on fb or send photos on messenger.

Something or other was on the last radio news update I heard (Heart radio) but I wasn't really listening Blush.

Instagram was mentioned too.

I presume whatever it was, is why fb isn't working at the mo!

Nope, Facebook, messenger and Instagram completely screwed here. In fact, Instagram logged me out, and now says my account doesn't exist.
