Storm Gareth!

It's bin day tomorrow, already the bins have been put away as no point!

Proper gales, gusting to blowing a hooley.

dudsville · 12/03/2019 21:37

I've been wondering of we don't actual have a windy proud this time each year, like the "mistral" in Corsica.

Iputthescrewinthetuna · 12/03/2019 21:38

Its not windy here in West Midlands. Where are you?

crunchie12 · 12/03/2019 21:39

Chester. It's blowing a right gale.

Nottinghamshire and blowing a gale here too.

Smokeahontas · 12/03/2019 21:43

Definitely on the breezy side, just got happy slapped by a rogue plastic bag when I let the dog out

stayingaliveisawayoflife · 12/03/2019 21:44

Tree down near me yesterday!

This wind is crazy!
64sNewName · 12/03/2019 21:45

Wild here (Scotland). Had to reassure DD that our house is too solid to blow away.

nocoolnamesleft · 12/03/2019 21:46

40 gusting to 60. So certainly not record breaking, but not entirely pleasant. Just glad the bins aren't empty - I'd probably never find them again.

Fluffyears · 12/03/2019 21:49

Something is making a clicking noise when the wind gusts....not sure what it is!

Iputthescrewinthetuna · 12/03/2019 21:50

We are supposed to be hit with it at 1am!

sleepalldays · 12/03/2019 21:53

My cocker spaniel nearly blew away along the seafront earlier! He's only a small lad.

SuperHeroMum · 12/03/2019 21:54

It's definitely hufting outside in our end of the West Mids!

GrumpyOldMare · 12/03/2019 21:54

Very blustery here in Somerset

crunchie12 · 12/03/2019 22:01

Hope it calms down soon - I'm worried DS will wake.

I'm near Lichfield in Staffordshire and it's a bit windy but nothing spectacular, I'm a bit disappointed so far.

Dancingfairydreams · 12/03/2019 22:19

I've got scaffolding up 😱 fingers crossed it stays up 🤞

Aurignacian · 12/03/2019 22:22

I’m worried the chimney is going to fall in! Scary

Smokeahontas · 12/03/2019 22:22

This page is quite good, shows the latest gusts

nocoolnamesleft · 12/03/2019 22:31

Ooh, thanks for that page. 61.

Mitsouko67 · 12/03/2019 22:41

Windy here in Dublin too!

Sassenach85 · 12/03/2019 22:45

Just outside Glasgow here - very windy and rainy and generally sounds loud and scary! Can hear things rattling about and blowing about and I hate it when DH is night shift!

Bezalelle · 12/03/2019 22:52

Bit breezy here in Liverpool.

Our trampoline has been blown into the neighbour's garden. My DH is out there with a torch just now trying to deal with it while I.MN in bed
