I found my naice measuring jug in the bathroom cabinet. DH had been using it for urine measuring for a doctors appointment . Plenty of other cheap plastic measuring jugs in my cupboard but no he had to use that one.

So basically check the bathroom.

I have lost my good kitchen tongs, they are perfect for serving noodles and pasta. The rubbish ones are still.in the drawer, I swear at them every time I use them.

We lost our pizza cutter wheel thingy. Could not fathom where it disappeared to as we'd used it the day before and I could have sworn I put it in the dishwasher.

It turned up 3 months later in the giant bag of dog food!! our dog went to stay with a friend for the weekend and she found it. It could easily have fallen off the side into there, but how come I didn't notice it as I put my hand into the bag twice a day to get his food out

My DH lost a lasagne .....in a large Pyrex rectangular dish. That I had made , lovingly with my own fair hands.

DD phoned me to tell me where they'd looked . I said "Try the microwave"......... It was in the Microwave
