Well, I say real life, I mean in person.

I'll start Grin

Eat excessive amounts of food without considering the calories

Let their DC off school for holidays

Wear leggings or Uggs

Let their children play 18+ games in Year 6/7

Maybe have another read of Penis Beaker and try not to wet yourself. Hmm Grin

planesinthesky · 12/03/2019 10:27

The old Top Gear with Clarkson, Hammond and May. And just Jeremy Clarkson in general.

And everyone on here hates the Mail Online (although they still read it everyday).

Sparklingbrook · 12/03/2019 10:29

I loved Top Gear, the old line up too. I also loved Chris Moyles and was v upset when he left R1.
Also I think Piers Morgan is very entertaining as is Boy George.

None of this is acceptable on MN AFAIK. But hey.

Ahh Penis beaker is Hilair Hmm

WhoWasIt · 12/03/2019 13:03

The penis breaker thread wasn't funny per se, but a couple of posts on it actually did have me crying with laughter, particularly the popping candy ones.
I danced a jig when my kids left home.
I also gave them fresh brewed coffee to drink with breakfast from being toddlers.

LaMarschallin · 12/03/2019 13:32

Ok, fair enough Smile
The Penis Beaker thread did actually make me laugh out loud. I teared up but I have a streaming cold (equivalent of having something in my eye, perhaps? Wink).
Doesn't anybody just cuddle and go to sleep?

I do, or should i say my OH does! I'm always boiling hot ( i can seriously say that i'm hot stuff in bed, but for all the wrong reasons. Hah ) He's always draped over me like a bloody blanket because apparently he's cold. Like a blanket i eventually end up throwing him off.

Get on well with in laws.

Lordamighty · 12/03/2019 13:58

Answer the phone when it rings.
Open the door when people knock.
Reply to texts fairly quickly.

PrincessDaff · 12/03/2019 14:10

Enjoy hen dos (especially foreign locations) and baby showers without feeling they are tacky/grabby.

Oblomov19 · 12/03/2019 14:18

MN is very wierd. No one I know does the MN 'thangs'.
People drink loads and use bathroom bins here!

LaMarschallin · 12/03/2019 14:35

What's the thing about not answering the door? I never know if it's a delivery or the window cleaner wanting paying or something.
Also, if I was in the sitting room, I'd have to lie on the floor behind the sofa in case the person knocking looked through the window.

Sparklingbrook · 12/03/2019 14:36

MN rules. No answering the front door if you aren't expecting anyone. And definitely not after 9pm.

Not sure why. Confused

sparkling123 · 12/03/2019 18:38

Answer the door even if I'm not expecting anyone, I didn't even know people did this until Mumsnet Confused
