What are you saving up for?

I’m saving for a hostess trolley (really). Strangely enough, it never reaches the top of the ‘To Buy’ list. But I’m going to make an effort and save for it.

What are you saving for?

Fees, Deposit and 1st months rent on a bigger place.

hellonewjob · 07/03/2019 13:13

House deposit
Holiday at the end of this year/spending money
Hen party weekend I'm going on

hellonewjob · 07/03/2019 13:13

Oh and Christmas too Smile save money every week for that.

HalfBloodPrincess · 07/03/2019 13:13

Not the same as a hostess trolley, but since I was a kid I’ve always wanted one of those globe things Del Boy Trotter had his drinks in. Maybe I’ll save for one of those next.

Retirement

jadeyfly · 07/03/2019 13:16

Flights to visit my parents for the first time in 2 years. My daughters haven't seen them either :( but the cost of 4 passports plus flights is hard to save for with all the bills we have

Parker231 · 07/03/2019 13:18

Leaving the UK (thanks to Brexit) and potential retirement

Persona my Yorkshire grandmother used to call it a 'dinner wagon'.

PersonaNonGarter · 07/03/2019 13:31

Dinner Wagon is great. (Although I feel ‘hostess’ channels my inner Margot).

Love the drinks globe idea. Struggling to believe that hasn’t reached the top of everyone’s To Buy list sooner.

Retirement for DH (I'm already there due to ill health ), holidays (we like lots of them) and a new, to us, car

JustBeingJobless · 07/03/2019 13:44

A really lightweight electric wheelchair. My mobility is getting worse and worse and my scooter is great once I actually get on it, but it’s just too bloody heavy for me to get out the house and the car on my own, so I’m after one of the really light ones.

BlueMerchant · 07/03/2019 13:47

A week away in UK in the Summer hols.

Stupomax · 07/03/2019 14:02

Retirement here too.

lastqueenofscotland · 07/03/2019 14:04

An extension but I keep booking holidays so saving nowhere near enough

DollyWilde · 07/03/2019 14:05

Just about to go blow the savings on our honeymoon and doing the final bits we need to the house. Then we’ll start saving up again for a (one day!) maternity leave Smile

toomuchfaster · 07/03/2019 14:05

Holiday spends at Easter and to quit my job!!

eggsandwich · 07/03/2019 14:07

A new boiler, the one we have at the moment is struggling abit as we extended the property so we need one that can cope easily with the amount of radiators and towel rails.

Bookaree · 07/03/2019 14:09

Double glazing and a trip to London!

hihellohihey · 07/03/2019 14:16

A trip to Asia and then hopefully after that, maternity leave!

MondeoFan · 07/03/2019 14:23

Summer holiday to Spain
