10 of the plastic shot glasses you get in Tesco?

Yes

ginandnappies · 04/03/2019 20:12

Guess it depends what's in them

Dinosforall · 04/03/2019 20:12

Depends what you put in them

HirplesWithHaggis · 04/03/2019 20:12

I am not familiar with Tesco shot glasses, but yes, ten shots would get you pretty drunk. And vomiting.

Drogosnextwife · 04/03/2019 20:13

Why?

lljkk · 04/03/2019 20:14

gosh, I'd be under the table after only 5.

RemodellingMyHouse · 04/03/2019 20:14

10 shots of spirits - yes
10 shots of weaker liqueur - probably
10 shots of beer - no
10 shots of water - definitely not

MrsTerryPratcett · 04/03/2019 20:15

Why?

PinkHeart5914 · 04/03/2019 20:15

Depends sometimes it would get me drunk sometimes not

Like vodka has no effect on me, but 10 shots of gin would have me sick as hell. Depends what I’ve eaten etc etc

10 shots of tequila...see you in a week. 😆

Pols83 · 04/03/2019 20:16

Of vodka. Because DD says she had 10 of those ones from Tesco and felt "fine" and honestly I'm not familiar with alcohol, never been a drinker but can't quite believe her

SprogletsMum · 04/03/2019 20:16

1 or 2 shots can easily tip you into extremely drunk territory. I don't touch them any more its far too easy to get far too drunk on them.

thenightsky · 04/03/2019 20:16

Over what time period?

On an empty stomach or after food?

Pols83 · 04/03/2019 20:17

Over about 3 hours and after eating a big meal 2 hours before

OP posts:
finnmcool · 04/03/2019 20:18

Vodka doesn't make me feel drunk, I can drink a fuck tonne of the stuff. Two glasses of wine and I'm slurring.

Pols83 · 04/03/2019 20:26

Oh okay didn't realise it depends on the person

OP posts:
sugartitz · 04/03/2019 20:27

It depends. Now - four or five would have me throwing up and hungover for days. Pre kids - I could have smashed that easily and still be able to hold a conversation!

FindPrimeLorca · 04/03/2019 20:27

That’s the equivalent of a bottle of wine or four pints. I think most women would be feeling the effects after drinking that over a period of 3 hours on a full stomach, but not necessarily falling down/vomiting drunk.

ALannisterInDebt · 04/03/2019 20:28

Three shots of vodka would have me very drunk, four to five shots and I'd be completely pissed....ten and I'd be passed out and probably vomiting.

thenightsky · 04/03/2019 20:31

Over three hours and on a full stomach? Nah. Might be a bit tipsy.

ShirleyPhallus · 04/03/2019 20:33

1 or 2 shots can easily tip you into extremely drunk territory.

That’s just not true. It’s the volume of alcohol that makes you drunk. One or two shots could easily do nothing at all.

crocsaretoocoolforschool · 04/03/2019 20:51

Think my record is 21 I'm not proud

I can drink vodka like water -wine on the other hand, 3 glasses floors me

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 04/03/2019 20:54

How old is she and can she hold her drink?

I could drink most menunder the table in my youth and that would be necessarily have floored me but I would have been dancing on the tables and being an arse. Unless it’s something that could have been watered down.
