Please give me your industrial strength remedies for constipation

I’m weaning off cocodamol after years and my constipation is just dreadful. I need to go several tunes a day and when I try it’s just tiny malteser size bits! Sorry tmi. Anyway, please give me your best advice as to how to have a good clear out!?

You could try going to Edinburgh, head away from the main entrance to the castle, up Cannongate until you get to the Cannongate Kirkyard and go in through the gate.
I have walked through that gate on two occasions, years apart and have, both times experienced a sudden erm..... extreme urgency to go.

Happily, there is a Starbucks right over the road with convenient facilities.

I realise that Movicol and prune juice may be more doable in the short term.....

I once noticed that a bottle I had was out of date by a couple of years, so thought I would take double the recommended dose in my desperation.
All I can say is, thank God we had 2 toilets and the one I was in had a brand new bulk pack of loo roll in it!!!
