As the title basically. I'm talking along the lines of beans on toast, egg in a mug, chicken nuggets and chips etc etc

Pure an utter comfort food or when you can't be arsed cooking! Need ideas

Super noodle sandwich.

Birds Eye Fishcakes and baked beans
Birds Eye Potato Waffles and Baked Beans
Cauliflower cheese and crusty bread.
Chips and curry sauce.

Fish finger sandwiches

Did you say egg in a cup? 😦 as in smashed egg with bread? I thought that was unique to our family! Is it a real thing??

Pizza toasties! Bread slathered in tomato paste, mozzarella cheese and generous basil. Toasted

Battered sausage, saveloy and chips with a steaming mug of strong tea.

Absolutely no redeeming features about it. But it tastes great and fills a hole like a skipload of breezeblocks and builders' rubble.

@RiverTam do you know that M&S tinned soup is actually Baxter's, but with a different label. I was when I found this out, but they are made in the same factory. A factory where I know have in-law family members working.

Buttered soft white roll, 5 chicken dippers and a side of microchips, all doused in ketchup.

Tinned tomato soup with grated cheese and buttered white toast

Chicken Kiev with super noodles

Potato waffles on white bread with loads of salt

Microwave rice with mayflower curry sauce

@smudgedlipstick Haha ours too! Egg in a mug smooshed up with soldiers, sometimes marmite sometimes butter.

We still get made this by mum when we are poorly or sad. We are in our 30s

Doritos, salsa from a jar, grated cheese. Microwave for 1 minute. Heaven!!

plain salted rice cakes spread thickly with: Philadelphia (plain full fat) and a dab of Marmite; and mayo, topped with thick slices of mature cheddar...

OMG to toast toppers. I used to love these. Wonder if you can still buy them.

Pasta, spinach, bacon and cheese thrown in a dish, pasata and boiled water on top. Leave 25 minutes, take tin foil off and bit more grated cheese under the grill. Tastes amazing, 2 of the 5 a day for the kids and easy, just requires scissors and a spoon for prep
