I nipped in for a sandwich and a bag of crisps on the way home. Got to the till and the guy asked me if I wanted to get a drink. I told him I was flattered but I had a husband. He said, no, it's part of the meal deal.

Chocolatecake12 · 25/02/2019 22:43

This was on the radio this morning - it happened to some celebrity , can’t remember who! Either you listen to the same radio station as me or you’re the celebrity Hmm

donajimena · 25/02/2019 22:43

I was chatting to a guy OLD. I plucked up the courage to ask him out via message. Then I went out got drunk and replied that I would love to go out with him. I'd replied to my own message Blush

Why the fuck do people come on here hoping to pass stuff off as their own!

BrendaUrie · 25/02/2019 22:54

With. I said it was a joke Hmm

It's very obviously a joke that I've seen on several different platforms today so I thought I would share it. Calm down.

OP is written as though it happened to you. So is the title. Hmm

donajimena · 25/02/2019 23:02

Oh well, mine wasn't a joke Grin I really did do that.

BrendaUrie · 25/02/2019 23:03

Yes because it's not as funny if you put 'I heard a joke today'...

It's being posted as statuses in the same format all over Facebook and twitter.

This place is so odd sometimes. Confused

Never mind.

I chuckled.

It's not even like the lunch time meal deal is anything new.

Singlenotsingle · 25/02/2019 23:05

We'll forgive you Brenda. You gave us all a laugh!

NaughtToThreeSadOnions · 25/02/2019 23:06

Al2O3 · 25/02/2019 23:08

This is where posters now step on to harangue and bully the OP because they think they can. Stop it.

I never heard it. It was funny. Everything we ever hear is second hand.

PyongyangKipperbang · 25/02/2019 23:09

It has actually happened to me, but the other way around.

I asked a guy if he would like me to get him a drink and he was flustered and said no he would get his own and waggled his ring finger at me.

I run a pub. Hmm

ShadyLady53 · 25/02/2019 23:10

Lol, I was just thinking, how odd as the exact same thing happened to Jenna (Coleman, I know her).

MyBestFriendIsAHamster · 25/02/2019 23:11

This reminds me of the glitter smear test urban myth that so many people either claim happened to them or they know someone it happened to Grin

NotTerfNorCis · 25/02/2019 23:12

Got to the till and the guy asked me if I wanted to get a drink. I told him I was flattered but I had a husband.

Grin Grin Grin Reminds me of when someone asked me what I was doing that evening. Turned out he meant what my colleagues were working on.

Sophiemtb · 25/02/2019 23:13

I once asked a customer (older than my dad) if he had any nice plans for the afternoon, and he said 'Why, are you taking me out to dinner?' cringe!

RockyFlintstone · 25/02/2019 23:13

OMG ShockShockShock

So?
