Chocolate covered cookie dough bites
The sharing tubs of mini rolls, millionaires shortbread bites etc
Dutch shortcake biscuits
Extremely chocolatey biscuits
Crinkle cut bbq crisps
Cheese tasters
Pork and apple crisps (these may be seasonal)
Chocolate cream swiss roll (in the refrigerated desserts)

SilverySurfer · 24/02/2019 19:43

I love M&S food. Bread is great, love santini toms, their version of Jaffa cakes, especially lemon and lime, clementine at Christmas, chicken pate in little glass jars, french butter, ham hocks are fab, key lime pie in the summer, ready made custard, nice selection of cheese, fruit and veg look fresh unlike some supermarkets I could mention.

Quintella · 24/02/2019 19:43

Oh and M&S strawberries taste WAY better than other supermarkets' strawberries.

WindsfromtheNE · 24/02/2019 19:44

Their breadq and yogurts. Not much else anymore. For the last two years, the strawberries I've bought in Morrisons or Aldi have tasted better and been way cheaper than the M &S ones. And Aldi avocados are a class above the M & S ones. The quality gap has closed so much that I just don't bother paying the ridiculously inflated prices any more.

hugoagogo · 24/02/2019 19:44

Agreed on the cheddar an red Leicester cheese bread.
Cheese and onion rolls
Jelly meerkats
Capaccino whirls
Sea salt fudge bites
Red leicester and tomato sandwiches
Chocolate chunk shortbread and pain au raisin from the bakery
Earl grey tea bags are perfect too.

ooooohbetty · 24/02/2019 19:44

Singapore noodles. All of the Chinese range actually. And their fruit is pricey but always good quality. Tubs of chocolate cornflake cakes. Yummy.

MrsSlocombesPussy · 24/02/2019 19:55

I don't know if it's the right season yet, but their candy floss grapes are amazing. They do really taste like candy floss!

BartonHollow · 24/02/2019 19:58

Their Pork Sage And Onion Stuffing

Smoked Salmon Parcels

Carrot Cake Cheesecake Slices

Chunky Steak Tinned

Viennese Sandwich Biscuits

Cheesy Nachos

White Choc Cookies

bedunkalilt · 24/02/2019 20:04

I know it’s quite a basic item but really, their sausage rolls and scotch eggs are so much better. I’m not talking the ‘finest’ types, just their regular sausage rolls and scotch eggs - they are miles better than the ones we get from other supermarkets, but similarly priced.

I quite like their rollitos (I think that’s what they’re called) - manchego cheese sticks wrapped in Serrano ham. Also the mozzarella pearls in pesto.

They also do really good tea cakes (as in the Tunnocks type, biscuit with marshmallow and chocolate) - so so good, and I think they’re £1 for 16!

LikeSilver · 24/02/2019 20:09

Cheesy bread
Beer battered chips
Pink iced buns
Dirty fries
Ultimate mash
Pizzas are quite nice
Chocolate and salted caramel hot cross buns

—I like carbs can you tell—

Some of their summer BBQ range is lovely too. And DCat goes crazy for their wafer thin chicken.

BathshebaKnickerStickers · 24/02/2019 20:18

Sultana cookies. They are gorgeous

AnneElliott · 24/02/2019 20:47

Strawberry and champagne cream - this is amazing and I don't eat any other type of cream.

BiggFactHunt · 24/02/2019 20:56

Their basic sausages are lovely and made with rice flour so I can eat them as I can’t eat wheat.
Stone baked pizza always a hit with the kids.
Chocolate Brazil nuts/peanuts/raisins.
The cottage pie that is £4 I think for a big one is amazing, tastes the same as I can do from scratch.

I’m in M&S once a week at least for a top up of yummy stuff.

MsSquiz · 24/02/2019 21:08

Their fresh cheesy bread
The triple chocolate tiffin
The lemon drizzle cake
The sable grapes
The crispy bacon (usually eaten in the car on the way home)
Beer and honey chicken flatties
Ultimate beef burgers
Cherry Colin the caterpillar sweets

I clearly need a M&S visit soon!

theliverpoolone · 24/02/2019 21:26

Their houmous and tsatsiki are lovely.

AwkwardAsAllGetout · 24/02/2019 21:30

Their yoghurts are lovely. There’s a lime one that I’ve been obsessed with during this pregnancy, and a rhubarb and custard one that’s good too. I’ve also become a little addicted to the Wensleydale and carrot chutney sandwiches

Rayne23 · 24/02/2019 21:31

The tubs of chocolate logs and millionaires bites, very addictive!
Percy pigs
I like their stir fry bundles, they do a nice veg mix with edamame beans in it.
Fresh soups- I can't remember exactly what it's called but it's a kale, tomato and bean one.

AdaColeman · 24/02/2019 21:31

The "Dine In" offer of dinner for two can be good value if you like the combination on offer, so always worth a look.

BarbaraofSevillle · 24/02/2019 21:42

Agree that nearly everything is well overpriced. I only shop there for lunches I can claim on expenses, reduced items and when I can combine offers, eg Dine in for £10 with a money off vouchers eg £5 off £25 spend. Otherwise I still to Aldi and Morrisons.

I like those yogurt/grain pot things, but they're £2 each Shock

They do a yogurt/mango/quinoa and cocoa and muesli ones, both with fruity and nutty sprinkles on the top and they're lush.

Oldieandgoldie · 24/02/2019 21:44

Microwave veg in bags, to serve one or two people, not cheap, but very worth it! Just like fresh veg...but easier Smile!

Quintella · 24/02/2019 21:44

I have to say that M&S at yellow sticker time is a joy. Profiteroles reduced from a fiver to 50p. Yes please.

Chickenwing · 24/02/2019 21:47

They used to do candy floss flavoured grapes. No idea how it worked but they were AMAZING!!

BertrandRussell · 24/02/2019 21:53
