(And how much are you paying for it?)

Just read the thread about holiday traditions and now thinking about holidays! We haven’t got anything booked yet but now with 3 kids and trying to stick to school holidays (this is also new for us) it’s slim pickings! Everything seems crazy money and / or awful!

So, inspire me, allow me to live vicariously through your fabulous holiday plans or give me some tips!!

Thanks @TheyGotMyName. We’re looking forward to visiting Salou too, as we are in between both resorts, plus Tarragona which we’ve been to before for a few days and loved it.

We’re thinking of a trip to Barcelona if it isn’t a pain in the arse to get to.

We have 2 young children (4 & 18 months) so have been holidaying in the uk for the last few years, which we love. We are going to Dumfries and Galloway the first week of April (£400) and Skye in July (£600). Renting a cottage both times.

We do a lot of holidays but only one abroad a year. i haven't costed it but in total less than two weeks abroad in August i think! We have two weekend breaks for march, one city break and one theme park, Easter we are having a week in Cornwall and the Easter weekend at Flamingoland, first May bank holiday 9.50 sun holiday, May halfterm Disney land Paris, we will camp every weekend through May and June at lots of different places, camping Devon and Cornwall for 3 weeks in the school summer holidays then a week Yorkshire or the Lakes for the last week of the school holidays. Caravan in Devon October halfterm. We book in advance and spread the cost and camping is very cheap. we ll fit in a couple more theme park weekends, Blackpool illuminations and visits to family and friends around the uk too.
