Really interesting little quiz.
Doesn’t ask for any details so no data harvesting.

It got me down to about 15 miles from where I grew up.

Got me 100% correct!

YourFly · 15/02/2019 21:22

I got 96 more questions. I gave up.

Silversun83 · 15/02/2019 21:29

I got either Cambridge or Brighton and I'm from a town in Kent (though with a parent from the East Midlands - who also spent a portion of her childhood in Asia).

@laquila - singer is pronounced sing - err with a soft g and finger is pronounced fing - ger with a hard g. How do you pronounce them to sound the same?!

Silversun83 · 15/02/2019 21:30

@laquila - that was quite hard to write out phonetically Grin I guess you use a hard g for singer as well??

Troels · 15/02/2019 21:32

Spot on for me.

ChesterGreySideboard · 15/02/2019 21:34

I say a hard g in both finger and singer.

Mine got the city nearest to where I spent my first decade and then my university town as its second guess, so I'm pretty impressed!

CantWinLotteryIfDontBuyTicket · 15/02/2019 21:47

82 miles for me 😕

CassandraCross · 15/02/2019 21:50

Epic fail for me! it couldn't decide where I am from and gave four options none of which I have ever lived in, visited nor have any familial connection to.

DinosApple · 15/02/2019 21:54

Most of the southeast for me including east Anglia. The most accurate question for me was what do you call skiving off school. Bunking off seems to be a Herts phrase.

Ali1cedowntherabbithole · 15/02/2019 21:55

I needed to do the second half of the questionnaire but it got me within 30 miles, which is pretty good as I have moved around a bit and had parents and grandparents from different parts of the country.

BearFoxBear · 15/02/2019 22:03

Bang on for me despite living in a few different places over the past 20 years!

Iputthescrewinthetuna · 15/02/2019 22:04

I am a brummie. Had me in Manchester

AnneEyhtMeyer · 15/02/2019 22:06

Spot on for where I grew up.

Greenandcabbagelooking · 15/02/2019 22:10

Mine was totally confused by having two parents from different places with strong regional dialects. It appears many words from both dialects have been incorporated into my speech. I didn't grow up where either parent is from, so I've also gained the vernacular of my peers.

Vividdreaming · 15/02/2019 22:16

Spot on. The bulk of colour was where I grew up with three more spots of colour. 1 where I live before now, 1 were so live now and 1 were my parents lived. These are 1 on each point of the compass.

Tomboytown · 15/02/2019 22:24

I like that game.
Some of my answers are a bit obvious tho

Kedgeree · 15/02/2019 22:31

Not particularly accurate other than it knew I'm from the north / north east. Gave three options, two of which were pretty far out.

Elliemayclampett · 15/02/2019 22:31

Spot on for me. Liverpool

RebeccaCloud9 · 15/02/2019 22:39

Has anyone done it on an android phone? Don't know why my map isn't working.

Bubblysqueak · 15/02/2019 22:40

Wow! They got the city I was born in and the place I grew up was 10 miles away!

TeacupDrama · 15/02/2019 22:43

it's not ip address as I live about 350 miles from where I grew up but it was pretty spot on with west midlands

Wakk · 15/02/2019 22:43

It had me as reading or Peterborough!

Nope, not even close.

Obloodyhell · 15/02/2019 22:45

I had a line down from Lincoln to Exeter so not very precise, I’m afraid.

Justnapping · 15/02/2019 22:47

Spot on!!
