Really interesting little quiz.
Doesn’t ask for any details so no data harvesting.

It got me down to about 15 miles from where I grew up.

Can't get past the "I was raised there" button and article. Am I missing something?

myidentitymycrisis · 15/02/2019 13:57

got me to the south east but not the right part

fourquenelles · 15/02/2019 14:00

Daphne got me spot on with Sarfend-on-sea!

fourquenelles · 15/02/2019 14:01

Meant to add that my dad is from Bradford so I have a few Yorkshire words like ginnel in my vocab.

GlubGlubGlub · 15/02/2019 14:03

That is amazingly accurate. Despite living in England for 35 years it pinpointed the exact region of Scotland I’m from!

No map loading here. Will be interesting though as I grew up in greater London but had Yorkshire parents

Tidypidy · 15/02/2019 14:10

It got where I grew up and where I've lived for the last 20 years! Very clever.

CocoDeMoll · 15/02/2019 14:10

It had me as Portsmouth. Never been there and come from Suffolk Confused

Try on a different browser. The quiz doesn't like explorer but it works on Chrome.

It got my result exactly right!

SpeckleDust · 15/02/2019 14:13

This got mine as 11 miles from where I grew up. And that’s despite living in an entirely different part of the country for the last 30 years Grin

SpeckleDust · 15/02/2019 14:14

(And having parents from outside England)

theharlotletter · 15/02/2019 14:14

I didn't get a map. Do you need to subscribe first?

Wellcolourmehappy · 15/02/2019 14:14

No map for me either - tried it 3 times!

iMatter · 15/02/2019 14:15

It placed me in 2 cities. One is 300 miles away from where I grew up and the other 450... Confused

EstrellaDamn · 15/02/2019 14:17

It got me! Very clever.

MirandaWest · 15/02/2019 14:19

Completely wrong for me but I’m not surprised, based on the way I talk

redhat · 15/02/2019 14:19

Mine gave me a very large potential area. Probably not surprising since I was brought up in the midlands but with parents from essex and north london.

MiceSqueakCatsMeow · 15/02/2019 14:23

It knew where I came from.

AvaTheGardener · 15/02/2019 14:23

wrong side of the Pennines for me! But then unless it asked very specific questions about dialect they'd not guess it.

lonalsland · 15/02/2019 14:26

Nowhere near right! 🙁

PhilomenaButterfly · 15/02/2019 14:34

Me too Cherry. 😢

jinglet · 15/02/2019 14:40

Born and brought up in Lancashire. It identified me as being from Peterborough/Reading 🤨

imjustanerd · 15/02/2019 14:41

Got mine spot on

MrsTerryPratcett · 15/02/2019 14:45

Nope. Although I think it gets confused because although people round my manor would say 'bare' and 'chav', I wouldn't.
