Do you find yourself imagining what some of the regular mumsnetters look like?

AnyFucker proper upper middle look but urban, edgy, boho look not country wax jacket look. Choppy hair bobbed.

worraliberty super skinny, very well manicured look, long hair in a straight ponytail. Same goes for bluntness

BertrandRussell has a unique look a bit like a left wing school teacher. Soft features but a sharp tongue.

Anyone else

(Obviously I could have these all wrong and I meant no offence by anything I’ve writtain. All very light hearted!!)

New account, regular poster here. I absolutely love Anyfucker's posts. Didn't imagine you looked / compared with Claire Underwood, (Robin Wright Penn is a super crush of mine), but that blows what my visualisation out the water!
I had you as

  • A very dark brunette, medium length requiring no faffing, styling whatever - because 'you have things to do!'
  • A lady who works with DV survivors or nurse that sees so much shit that you can say it like it is with conviction
* An enforcer of fairness and maybe a lefty (nowt bad in that I promise) * A big soft who cares, and that's why you're so, erm, truthful. * I had you as, and i don't know why, closer to size 14/16, wears whatever makes you comfy, like harem trousers (my staple clothing in summer) * glasses wearer * mid 40s

😂 love it! and you are pretty accurate but I now dye my hair copper and I rarely wear black or carry a handbag anymore, but I always take one when I'm making an effort to look nice.

I'm Scottish 😁

ReaganSomerset · 15/02/2019 21:35

It's times like this I wish I had stayed under my original username so people 'knew' me

Yeah, I know what you mean. Still, anonymity has its perks.

halfwitpicker · 15/02/2019 21:35

No way, anyfucker is a Northerner

Straight talking as they come

Elephantshoe · 15/02/2019 21:36

Oh, honeydragon to me, has long red/Auburn hair, mostly natural but sometimes enhanced to hide the greys (I'm riddled with them) part hippy, part realist but really funny.
Bluntness, scares me sometimes Grin so I imagined tight, well styled short black Bob, black rimmed glasses and stern

lucysmam · 15/02/2019 21:38

@8FencingWire I'm petite and slim, with dark greying hair that I'm debating colouring :)

Racecardriver · 15/02/2019 21:41

Interesting thread. I imagine pretty much everyone being ever so slightly disheveled or a bit haggard (probably projecting).

ReaganSomerset · 15/02/2019 21:43

@Racecardriver

Definitely dishevelled. Smile

AnyFucker · 15/02/2019 21:48

I think it is a shame when folk name change too

I preferred it when people "knew" each other

(don't like change)

Drogosnextwife · 15/02/2019 21:48

I imagine A LOT of people being pretty middle class with good jobs and living in nice, decent sized houses with DP's that earn good money. Pretty well educated, and being quite "proper".
I really don't know why I picture this. I find myself driving by nice houses and thinking, I wonder if a a mnetter lives in there 😂

ApolloandDaphne · 15/02/2019 21:50

As usual no one gives a shit about me. Thing is I am interesting and well read and fun. But somehow it doesn't translate to this site.

ApolloandDaphne · 15/02/2019 21:50

Lighthearted btw

ReaganSomerset · 15/02/2019 21:53

I'm sorry @ApolloandDaphne but I don't remember seeing you before. Maybe we just don't hang out in the same places? I'm sure you're lovely.

Iputthescrewinthetuna · 15/02/2019 21:54

Go on then. I'm not a 'known' poster, but describe me!

CocoDeMoll · 15/02/2019 21:54

Sorry apollo I’ve really only been doing people that I recognise but we could just be posting on completely different areas.

drogoswife I completely do the same thing Blush I don’t feel entitled to mumsnet because I’m skint, rent don’t own, not a whiff of a degree in our house and I drive a tin can on wheels Grin

ApolloandDaphne · 15/02/2019 21:56

No need to apologise. Have been here for years but name changed lots.

AnyFucker · 15/02/2019 21:57

I bet I "know" you Daphne but unfortunately you draw a complete blank in that name

Not meaning to be be rude, but that is how it is

M3lon · 15/02/2019 21:59

I also have images for Datun small, dark hair...very serious....and redtoothbrush who is plain but determined....

VanillaSugarr · 15/02/2019 22:00

RespoDad!! We need to describe Respodad...

M3lon · 15/02/2019 22:00

For honeydragon I just see Rochesters detached leg....
and yes mrsTP you are definitely wearing a wizzard hat...

ApolloandDaphne · 15/02/2019 22:03

If I said I was the poster who lost a child at Dunblane you may know me. But beyond that I have nothing else to offer.

mrsmuddlepies · 15/02/2019 22:08

I am a huge fan of Worra and Bertrand. I think they often represent the voice of so many Mumsnetters. Because they are my favourite posters, I tend to think of them as twins (non identical though). I imagine in real life they are big hearted and known for their kindness.

PhilomenaButterfly · 15/02/2019 22:09

What do I look like?

ReaganSomerset · 15/02/2019 22:10

@ApolloandDaphne

So sorry for your loss.

ARandomPoster · 15/02/2019 22:10

Ok @ApolloandDaphne, i think of all members of MN as female unless they specifically state they are male, so I'm going with the Daphne aspect of your name. And for me that means Scooby Doo. So, you have red hair in a curled out bob with a wide headband or scarf. You are slim and care about your appearance. The Apollo aspect of your name has you dressed in a toga style dress. You like Greek mythology so are well read, well travelled, interested in history and quite intelligent.
