What have you done that was challenging for you. Could be climbing a mountain or something really simple.

I managed to text my builder to ask a question. It sounds pathetic but I’ve really struggled with communicating with the (have ASD).

I bought a Valentine's Day helium balloon and took it to a lonely, disabled and single relative.

WoogleCone · 14/02/2019 18:37

I painted some drawers I've been putting off for about a month. Felt good :)

Heratnumber7 · 14/02/2019 18:38

I found an important key I thought I'd lost in work!

Natsku · 14/02/2019 18:40

I started working on emptying my study of everything (it's to become DD's room) - just emptied one drawer but it's a start.

Stupomax · 14/02/2019 18:41

I filled in all the forms to start a self-employed 401k (ie personal pension fund in the US). It took about 2 hours. Ugh.

arkela · 14/02/2019 18:42

I've just completed a 75-hour fast and broke it with a healthy, keto meal (and not the enormous bowl of pasta I wanted!)

BagofTeeth · 14/02/2019 18:44

Bathed my bath-hating dog without him escaping or soaking me in water. First time ever.

Prisonbreak · 14/02/2019 18:46

I have just reached 4 stone weight loss and today I donated all my ‘fat’ clothes

VanessaShanessaJenkins · 14/02/2019 18:49

Managed to get dd fed (twice) and to school and back AND give her a bath and get her to do some reading. Not remarkable but I've got a stinking cold and that took every bit of energy I've got so I'm counting it as a win.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 14/02/2019 18:51

I went to a pilates class, and managed to be be calm with the builder, when he kept coming through the lounge and repeatedly leaving the doors open, including one outside.

thewalkers · 14/02/2019 18:54

I drove us home from my driving lesson today,1st time out on the roads instead of the industrial estate

FromthePinkGlitterySide · 14/02/2019 18:59

I got a job!! Now I’ll be able to afford my rent, the bills and to be able to take the dc swimming and on little trips out. It’s been a real struggle and we’ve finally made it!

gettingtherequickly · 14/02/2019 18:59

I stood up for myself in a meeting,

MollysLips · 14/02/2019 19:01

Wrote a 1,300-word article I'd been worrying about. Did 2 loads of laundry. Made the DC Valentine's cards. Hoovered. Made DH his favourite dinner. Ticked everything off my to-do list, basically. I feel INVINCIBLE.

DontDribbleOnTheCarpet · 14/02/2019 19:02

I attended the funeral of a deeply loved family member, played my part, and managed not to dissolve into a quivering mess. My children (ages from 7 to 16) were amazing and behaved perfectly, so I'm taking credit for that too!

notsurewhatshappening · 14/02/2019 19:05

I didn't lose my temper when DCS were getting ready for school at snail's pace with the same listening skills.
Small wins!

thelaststraw123 · 14/02/2019 19:13

I didn't turn to alcohol or cocaine when going through a hard day! It's my daughters birthday today and I don't get to see her due to my own stupidity!

Before I would have gone off the rails today and lost the plot. As I'm working to get my children back, I have coped with today and not done what I would have in the past.

2 months sober and counting!

Itstimeslikethese · 14/02/2019 19:18

I resisted the carrot cake at the deli counter today Grin (trying to start being healthy)

Turquoisetamborine · 14/02/2019 19:20

Not today but yesterday I put my first aid skills to good use for a little three year old who knocked her teeth out and was covered in blood.

ohfourfoxache · 14/02/2019 19:22

I managed not to punch anyone, despite having to deal with some —thick as shit— challenging people at work

LouiseEH · 14/02/2019 19:34

I managed to go 24hrs sugar free after trying and failing for 3 days.

TheLastNigel · 14/02/2019 19:37

I argued with my bosses' boss who is a bully. I wouldn't normally dare but today I'd had enough. Then I didn't lose my patience with my boss when she insisted that the Number Of bank holidays in a year changes every year. Royal weddings not withstanding. And even if it did it would make zero difference to our teams basic leave allowance which is 28 days plus bank holidays...everyone would still have to plan their 28 days. We are shut on bank holidays anyway.

Namechangedforthis79 · 14/02/2019 19:38

I made it through the day with 2 year old twins.
