Saturday night food

So I'm hungover, husband is away. I've got a lovely hair of the dog Malbec and deciding what to order for dinner! I'm leaning towards a Chinese. What's everyone eating tonight!?

Chicken shish kebab with salad coleslaw and lots of chilli sauce 🤤🤤🤤

Lamb with potato rostis, green beans and sugar snap peas 😊

We have Mexican on Saturdays...every Saturday. No idea why Haha

But I can't decide what to make tonight!

I have the choice of real ale sausages or bacon chop from the butcher, with a big fluffy baked potato and greens. Following it up with a homemade apple and raspberry crumble and custard. Also have wine. If I was buying Chinese I would get salt and chilli chicken wings and a special fried rice!

I've just made a huge pan of bolognese which I'm letting fester for a coupled hours before having at it with a fresh, warm, crusty loaf.

DH is cooking steaks.

They'll be fabulous, as always.

Probably get a Chinese delivered once lo is in bed, despite trying to convince dh we should get pizza!

Dominoes Pizza tonight. And a JD or two.

I'm hungry now. Gotta drive 45 min round trip for it. DD4 to bed first.

Jacket potato and quich for me.
Pizza and salad for DD.

The other 3 habitants are on their way home from football so will stop for a burger on the way.

Homemade lamb tikka masala. DH putting it on as we speak. Can't wait

My mouth is watering reading all of these 🤤🤤 If I did get a Chinese id have a beef chow mein, crispy shredded chicken, spring rolls and prawn crackers. I think I'm decided 🤣

Fish and chips for us tonight

We got up and went for a walk to the pub for a full English breakfast.
We then drive to a lovely farm shop and had coffee and cake.
We've decided that we may as well finish off the day well and so will be ordering a Chinese takeaway this evening. It's a good job we're healthy during the week!

Steak, chips and onion rings paired with a nice glass of red wine. Husbands away so going to catch up on my crap tv once the babies are in bed.

Homemade nachos here - salsa, guacamole, sour cream and viciously hot chilli with chorizo in it.

Then a Spanish Christmas cake that looks like a giant ring donut with cream in it and coloured angelica on top

Pork schnitzel with dhal and saute potatoes

I am hungover and it covers all of the food groups

I am already having hair of the dog..

We usually have a takeaway on Saturday but DH is on the blood sugar diet so I'm being very supportive and we've cooked up a lamb tagine which smells divine!

Home made chilli here. With rice and 🍷

Pot luck supper with friends - although they are too well organised to do "real" pot luck, so I know what we are having: sticky sausages, empanadas, a prawn ring, asparagus with ham ... and a cheesecake. Yum, can hardly wait.

We were supposed to be going to Wagamamas with friends but they aren’t well so we are having an Indian takeaway.

Making bangers and mash. Followed by some sort of dessert. Would have wine too if I wasn't pregnant

Baked cod with a tomato salsa, spicy potato wedges and veg. Followed by a can of cider when DS is in bed. I'm classy.

Chicken enchiladas courtesy of my son, so nice to be cooked for x

Provided the food wagon is there when dp leaves to come home , and they haven't sold out we will be having jerk chicken, rice and peas possibly some curried goat, and some bbq chicken wings.
