So I'm hungover, husband is away. I've got a lovely hair of the dog Malbec and deciding what to order for dinner! I'm leaning towards a Chinese. What's everyone eating tonight!?

Salad. That's rubbish for a Saturday isn't it?

Elderly FIL is visiting. We went out for lunch and there i no way he will eat more than a light evening meal. I am sure we will survive. We have wine!

Freezer fish & chips.

DH is out on the town, drinking cocktails. He keeps sending me pics of each one, so I might try to recreate them once DC in bed.
There's a bottle of gin in the cupboard, a jif lemon juice, a banana and some dried herbs. And some limoncello in the freezer. I'm sure I can invent a fabulous cocktail from that ...

YouBoggleMyMind · 09/02/2019 18:22

We've got chicken burgers for dinner 😋

LurkyMcLurky · 09/02/2019 18:25

Fluffiest · 09/02/2019 18:28

We had a big lunch and wasn't hungry until I read this thread. I've fed DD a cheese sandwich and fruit but now I'm thinking of cooking once DH takes her up to bed. Maybe some sweet potato fries and.... I don't know what. Think I've some chicken dippers in the freezer.

CuppaTeaAndAJammieDodger · 09/02/2019 18:28

I've been studying all day and DH won't be home after work and picking DD up from her dad's until 9. So he's picking up an Indian on the way home. I've just texted him my order:

King Prawn Puri
Garlic Chicken
Chapati

What I really want is a super creamy tikka masala and a garlic naan but as of a couple of years ago I can't eat yeast or coconut 😡

viccat · 09/02/2019 18:29

Homemade vegetarian pad thai noodles (with tofu). When I say homemade I mean one of those kits that has noodles and the sauce and you just add whatever veg etc. you like.

PlsPlsPls · 09/02/2019 18:34

All homemade:

Chicken Saag
Garlic naan
Pilau rice
mint sauce, onion salad, mango chutney

Only baught in the poppadoms, because I really cannot be arsed to make those.

onlyhereforthefood · 09/02/2019 18:38

Cottage pie and veg

I did shoulder of lamb, with mash, peas, carrots and proper gravy. I forgot the mint sauce but it was still nice. DC had seconds! Followed by ice cream with homemade brownie pieces in.
