How much did you pay for your glasses?

DP is moaning, went to Specsavers yesterday and ordered a pair of French connection glasses and a pair of sunglasses with anti glare coating on glasses as I do a lot of driving in the dark, totalling £129. He thinks £65 a pair is unreasonable! To shut him up can you all post how much you recently paid for glasses if you don't get a voucher? 😊

who ever actually took the time to find a frame that really truly suited me

You have numbers on your frames
Big number is the arm smallest number is the nose bridge and the other is the diameter of the lens

Frames come in about 7 shapes

When you know what suits you it’s easy to Order online and many companies send you pots to try on - do this before your next due an eye test

They did all the extras at a fraction of the cost

Over £300 and would have been more if I had paid for ultra thin lenses instead of just thin.

However, you can get them cheaper online. Try on frames in the shop and get the model number of the one you like.

About the same. It's worth it because the amount of time you wear them - I wear mine almost daily so it's less than 50p a day over a year (and I have them for years so it's even cheaper).
