Hello bitoffun . Everything really . Feeling completely overwhelmed and trapped .

Been soldiering on for a year one foot in front of the other but getting too much and too hard

I'm on my way to bed in a minute, but a handhold from me & a if that would help

Well I had gone to bed early at 9.30 as v exhausted but the storm here woke me up and I’d left patio doors open so had to go down and close them and now can’t sleep and crying and feeling overwhelmed .

Separated from my abusive dh but can’t yet afford a divorce - bad today with him today . Dealing with 6 kids on my own , one of whom has severe mental health problems and 2 of whom I’m
Also watching like a hawk . Money v tight and all seems overwhelming and all my natural optimism and inherent belief that I will get through this and past it is dissolving

Eugh, poor you. It’s windy here too. I avoid early nights, because I’ll always then wake up. Haven’t got to sleep yet, heating problems and late night plumber. Lying here now wondering whether it really is fixed but don’t want to check in case it isn’t!

You're tired, get a mug of warm milk and go back to bed. Don't panic about going back to sleep just have a wee read a rest with a warm drink and a biscuit.

Etino, don't! We had BOTH toilets blocked today . Thankfully sorted now.

Thanks everyone . I don’t have any family or real support - I’d just love a mum or dad or family member to lay my head in their shoulder right now and just cry . I’m so desperate for warmth and reassurance and the calm that comes from an older member of the family who just cares

lisalisa, it's definitely a challenge, but you are exhausted and need to get some sleep. Once you are up tomorrow, we will all help you, step by step. Try to relax.

You've got a lot on your plate atm. When life gets very shit for me i make sure I don't raise my head too far and think of "the future", it's too big. Just look at everything in bitesize chunks, half a day at a time.

Sounds like you're really struggling, do you have any RL support?

I do have friends in real

Usually very practical and stoic and like thigh says just get the day over with and congratulate myself if that’s done and not look too far ahead . It’s just I’m getting more and more depleted and tired and anxious
