I love these threads and I'm trying to lose a bit of weight atm (over indulged at Christmas and ever sinceBlush) so it's great to hear what other people's days are like- and if anyone else is trying to be a bit healthier I'd love to get some ideas!

So far today..
Breakfast- Porridge made with plain oats, dairy free coconut milk, blueberries & a small sliced apple on top.
Some black coffee.

Lunch- A microwave sachet of (no added sugars) roasted vegetable whole grain rice and a bag of Birdseye plain veggies.

I'm going to do a 'yoga for weight loss' YouTube video in about an hour once my foods gone down, probably incorporate some squats and crunches in too.

Dinner will be- Jacket potato w/ no added sugar Heinz beans, a little bit of grated low fat cheese and some kind of vegetable.

I'm trying to get back to eating more fruit & veg. Today so far has been:

B - thin bagel with 2 poached eggs, tomatoes & mushrooms
L - just eating a homemade carrot & coconut curry - has onion & tomato in too.
D - I'll be at work and I got a few porridge pots this week as they were on offer, so I've packed one of them and some fruit to go in too.

anxiousbundle · 05/02/2019 13:51

@Mmmhmmokdear ooh your breakfast sounds delicious (aside from the eggsGrin) I LOVE mushrooms.

Sounds like a really good day! Wish you the best of luck for trying to increase fruit and veg :)

Chelsea26 · 05/02/2019 14:20

Coronation chicken salad and water so far. Think DP is making chicken skewers and Greek salad for dinner so probably should have chosen something else for lunch in hindsight
There’s a big bowl of chocolate eclairs on the reception desk though, I’ve only looked so far but i’ll Probably pop a couple in between now and hometime Grin

misterburns · 05/02/2019 14:22

B - banana

L - Ham, avocado and carrot sticks with mayo

Several cups of tea with sugar.

I've also done a run, plus two on-foot 30 min school runs. Tired and hungry!

Grumpbum123 · 05/02/2019 14:23

I’m going to break the healthy eating vibe on this thread.
I’m comfort eating and not even going to

Grumpbum123 · 05/02/2019 14:25

Oops!
One slice of toast and butter
Packet cheese and onion crisps
Lunch out with a friend- cheese and onion toastie with 2 glasses of Prosecco

Salted caramel ice cream

Tonight katsu curry

anxiousbundle · 05/02/2019 14:26

@Grumpbum123 I get it, I've been comfort eating for 2 months now and gained over a stone. I'm not overweight or even close but I'm definitely not as comfortable as I usually am as a size 8.

I always find I binge eat/comfort eat if I feel stressed so I try and ensure I get everything done each day and stay on top of things to make sure I'm not making myself vulnerable for an evening binge!

I'm going to have a afternoon nap now I think then get on the yoga mat.

I'm a Law student so pretty much studied all morning, I need the mental break😂😅😴
