It’s my birthday so DH is treating us to a takeaway though I can’t decide on Chinese or Indian...
Hoping the dc finally give in to the idea its bed time pretty soon!

We had curry and syrup sponge pudding. An odd combination, but we were out in the snow all day and I wanted warm filling things. I make the sponge in the slow cooker, so we got home to lovely hot pudding.

ClanoftheCaveBear · 01/02/2019 19:21

HM chips, corn on cob and peri peri chicken.

Bastardanxiety · 01/02/2019 19:23

Tofu laksa with noodles. I'm not vegetarian, but it's actually my favourite meal

UsernameTaken76 · 01/02/2019 19:24

Steak with baked potato and asparagus wrapped in prosciutto. Will be followed by GU molten middle puds with rum & raisin ice cream. Mmmm! Plus red wine!!

It’s been a long week and I can’t wait the potatoes are in the oven to get them nice and crispy

RavenLG · 01/02/2019 19:27

We were at PILs so it was a random “chicken bits” (weird chopped chicken from a packet) veg and a jacket potato with a gravy / peppercorn sauce mix. And ice cream and frozen mini elcairs (not defrosted) for pud Grin

Xiaoxiong · 01/02/2019 19:27

Pizza night courtesy of Lidl, one Deluxe roasted veg with pesto, the other sundried tomatoes and mozzarella. Cut up peppers, cherry toms and sugar snaps on the side. I ate my half of one and absent-mindedly finished off the kids' crusts too Blush and now feeling a bit sick that I ate too much!

SweetPeaPods · 01/02/2019 19:28

Herja Would love the slow cooker recipe if you wouldn’t mind sharing?

UsernameTaken76 that sounds amazing. Personally DH is cheating by ordering takeaway, wish we were having steak!

Beef stew as Oh was working late could just leave it simmering

IggyAce · 01/02/2019 19:32

Panacalty with crusty bread, perfect on a cold snowy day.

violeticecream · 01/02/2019 19:33

Indian take away. I am still on my way home from work and too tired to cook. Looking forward to it Smile

gemdrop84 · 01/02/2019 19:34

I've ordered a dirty takeaway!
Magherita Pizza with Garlic Butter
Garlic Dip
Chips Cheese and Bechamel Sauce
Just finished a long shift and celebrating passing an assignment plus I have the house to myself so I'll be eating the above whilst watching Dumplin on Netflix...Bliss Grin

Brot64 · 01/02/2019 19:42

Lamb chops with potatoes and kale avocado salad.

Firestars · 01/02/2019 19:58

Nothing. I'm on a massive diet. SadSadSadSad

SweetPeaPods · 01/02/2019 19:58

Salmon & teriyaki sauce, green beans and sweet potatoes.

Saturday is takeaway night for us.

TwigTheWonderKid · 01/02/2019 20:21

Sea bass, saute potatoes, green beans and hollandaise sauce.

Yambabe · 01/02/2019 20:22

My fave quick-n-easy pasta bake.

Macaroni. Herta chicken hot dog sausages cut into chunks. Sauteed onions and red pepper, sweetcorn. Sauce made from mascarpone and HP honey BBQ sauce. All mixed and put in my big ovenproof dish then topped with fresh mozarella and grated strong cheddar, then into the oven til the cheese is bubbling and just starting to brown.

Yum!

Chelsea26 · 01/02/2019 20:23

Left over bolognese with mozzarella and dough balls on top baked in the oven - was good!

guineapig1 · 01/02/2019 20:27

Lasagne made by DH as he was working from home today. I think it has almost a bottle of red in it...

IndigoSpritz · 01/02/2019 20:30

Cajun chicken and rice with Australian Chardonnay. Now having cheese and biccies with a glass or two of port.

GrouchyKiwi · 01/02/2019 20:32

Family recipe soup and homemade bread.

onetwopyjamacrew · 01/02/2019 20:35

Corned beef hash because it’s DPs choice night and its the most creative dish he thought of apparently

IDrinkAndISewThings · 01/02/2019 20:39

I watched Dumplin' last week, I wasn't sure I'd like it but was a cute movie, hope you enjoy it @gemdrop84
Tea for us was salmon, new potatoes and spring greens. I feel like I should have enjoyed it more but the thin end of the salmon fillet always feels a bit gelatinous to me, makes me a bit squeamish!
Never mind, the rest of the weeks looks far more exciting - sausage and ale casserole, pizza night, and chilli nachos to name but a few 😋

CaptainHammer · 01/02/2019 20:42

Happy birthday OP! Enjoy your Indian.
We had bang bang chicken tonight and it was delicious!

Deianira · 01/02/2019 20:43

I had leftovers - pasta (tagliatelle) with a sort of creamy/cheesy sauce and pistachios. Nice and quick, as I'm still working...
